Been here three times now while going through Knoxville. It is a planned stop now. Always great food. The staff has always been polite. Thanks for the great service.

Above the great home style food was are waitress. Her name is Jory. She was absolutely great. Cheerful, engaging and made us feel welcome on our first of hopefully many visits

I just had to tell you that my boyfriend came back from a memorial weekend ride of 2016, bragging about the best waitress he has encountered on the road! He was riding with a group of ten hungry motorcyclists...After a long days ride they pulled into your restaurant : Mr. C's Family Restaurant. They were assigned.. Taylor Carter to their table... Taylor took all the orders without any mistakes!! We knew this, because every order came to us correct and in a timely manner! She was such a joy to converse with! She kept our drinks full and hot fresh buns on the table!! This was the best part of their whole trip! Thanks Taylor for a great experience at your restaurant!! This place comes highly recommended. By the way for a great experience ask for Taylor ... She is a great asset to this establishment! Signed ..the girlfriend of the favorite customer ..Oh yea;. When visiting Knoxville for a one-night stay, I was recommended two places to eat while in town. One of those restaurants was Mr. C's and I am so happy to have gone for breakfast. The waitress was especially kind and went the extra mile to provide incredible service. The food was amazing and I will be back next time I am in town.
So Mr,' Cs is now Mrs D's and the food is just as good!! Awesome please for breakfast and/or lunch may have hot beef sandwiches I think they have a hot turkey and maybe a hot meatloaf really good breakfast is too and a bunch of other stuff on their menu is really good.
Don't pass this place up. Old school diner feel and the food was amazing. Had the hot beef sandwich and man alive. Been a long time since I had a good one. This one takes the cake. And their macaroni salad was awesome.
Love having breakfast there. It's like making it at home without the mess. Waitresses are great attentive and prompt... Update since the sale figured I would give it a shot. Very disappointed. Food cold waited a hr after ordering just to get it. Come to find out the burgers are Sam's Club specials and all they do is heat them up. Will not be comming back. Been going to Mr C's for three years every time I come home from over the road.

My wife and I stopped in during the 360 nationals it was quite busy but the service was great and fast. I got the hot meatloaf sandwich. It was incredible and huge. My wife had hot ham and cheese and she loved it
