Good Pho. Love the Pho. When the menu says *Spicy* they mean *holy crap your mouth will burn spicy* so just a heads up. Lots of food for not too much money.
I absolutely love this place. La crosse would be poorer without it.

Good Stuff. I had the Pho (house special), and it was real good. While the place looks like a funeral home on the outside, according to my spouse, I think the building once was a credit union. The restaurant's decor is nothing special; in fact, the place is a bit dumpy. Nevertheless, the food was real good, the woman working the counter was nice, and the kitchen staff did a fine job with making me a good meal.
I guess my only reservation about Hmong Golden Eggroll is that they don't really have anything Hmong on the menu, perhaps the eggrolls. The menu seemed like a hodgepodge of southeast-Asian cuisine.
Very good and very reasonable. Meal for two: get the sausage or chicken legs with rice and an order of spring rolls - and share. Delish!
I always make my doc apps close to my lunch hour. I love the stuffed chicken wing.
Awesome!. The eggrolls and fried rice are to die for! After eating here it is difficult to go back to fried rice anywhere else! I love everything about this place!
Customer. Best eggrolls I have found in Lax!!
Best Eggrolls ever!. The eggrolls and the fried rice are the best of the best. This is vegetarian friendly as long as you are a vegetarian who eats eggs.
The eggs are not organic so there is the issue of supporting factory farms. It is unclear what conditions the eggs come from.
Besides this issue, I would recommend eating here, the portions are more than generous and the quality and flavor is great.
You can also purchase boxes of eggrolls to go. Yum.
This place is great - very authentic. Try the red curry! This place looks weird from the outside (I think tha building used to be a bank),but the food rocks.
Way pricey, but the have great eggrolls. As someone who loves eating pho, it's pretty hard to find an asian restaurant that serves it in LaCrosse. Hmong's Golden Eggroll is the only place I can think of that will serve this dish. Their pho was pretty good and the broth was prepared nicely. If you're not in the mood for pho, their eggrolls are really good and is probably their most popular item. If you're expecting the same eggrolls from your average chinese buffet's think again. Instead of being filled to the brim with lettuce and cabbage, these are filled with chunks of pork, chicken, shrimp, or veggies along with some thin bean thread noodles. Also, they have a very unique sauce for the eggrolls that I've only seen here at this restaurant. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are looking for an asian restaurant that is more authentic and does not serve your typical orange chicken or crab rangoon. I would really like to go back and try some of their other dishes in the future!
Everyone was really friendly and I really appreciated that everyone wore a mask. Food was great! Quick and hot. We ordered just a regular pho and pad lad nad. Pho was very flavorful and you can add plenty of condiments. The pad was not bad, just needed more spice.
Great food at a good price! We tried the beef Pho, as well as Veggie egg roll and veggie pad lad nad. Serving sizes are great for the price and the food is good, definitely recommend!
Golly! I feel so lucky to have this phenomenal delight in LaCrosse! It rivals any Asian restaurant I’ve experienced from coast to coast! The food is pure love. I introduced my 5 year old grandson to chopsticks and we had a cultural and culinary awakening! The service was fabulous as well… scattered rice noodles and all!
Some of the best Hmong food I have had!!!! If you like Hmong food this place will not let you down!! Only suggestion I have is make sure you come hungry cuz you'll want to eat every drop of food!! You don't want to sit down they do have takeout. The staff is very polite and very eager to help you.
A nice find in downtown La Crosse! Everything we tried was excellent from the egg and spring rolls, pho (huge bowl, pictured), curry, tom yum kong, and pad lad nad.
Very good food! The sweet wings are definitely spicy but a good spicy! The fried rice is amazing and the pad lad nad is so good! The mild stir fry is still quite spicy but nothing we couldn't handle. We will be back!
