Some friends took me to this hundred year old restaurant to have some great Mexican food. It was fantastic and the nachos were perfectly made and the enchiladas were tasty. Wonderful atmosphere wonderful staff, only trouble ate too much and was too full. I will stop by again the next time I am in town.
First time to El Choli and we loved it! We celebrated our son's birthday there. The service was perfect; our waiter was attentive, quick, and so friendly! Our food was so delicious! Their Tortilla Soup was amazing!
Me and my wife came here for lunch our waiter brought us chips and salsa as soon as we sat down. We ordered the coconut margarita which are so bomb. Our entrees came out fairly quick. I had the chicken Verde plate and my wife had chicken taqiutos everything was great best service I've had in a long time.

Been to this location multiple times and I can tell you that the flavor doesn't disappoint. I do want to mention a couple of "issues" that I've had on separate occasions. It was my second time placing a pickup order over the phone when I specifically requested their "First Enchiladas" that were sold at their restaurant aka Sonora Style. It tasted similar but looked nothing like it did when dining in on top of that the portion was extremely small. I'd say about 30% of what it usually is. Second minor issue happened a few nights ago when dining in. I ordered a kids taco meal and requested that there be no meat or dairy just beans, rice, and avacado. Upon receiving the dish I immediately voiced to the server that I didn't know that there was going to be cheese on the beans (the kids menu doesn't list ingredients). So I asked the server if we could have beans without cheese. He returned with a large side of beans and charged me for it. Again, not a big issue but I've worked at multiple restaurants for years and we would've never did that, especially charge them for a large size. Easy swap, no charge. Still tipped him good but thought it was worth mentioning. Other than those two instances, all the staff is super welcoming and the food is AUTHENTIC! My favorite Mexican restaurant by far. Will continue coming back.
OUTSTANDING!!! The food was amazing. Their fresh salsa was absolute fire 🔥 (not literally). The chips were not only fresh but had an amazing taste.
The entrees were exceptional and I go to a lot of Mexican restaurants. The Burrito Dorado was probably one of the best burritos I’ve had.
Service was great, and prices were good. This is highly recommended.
I ordered the taste of history plate! So delicious! My favorite was the enchiladas! The waiters were very nice and very attentive. Prices were great! I recommend this place to everyone! I brought my leftovers overs home to my family and they also give it 5 stars.
Enchiladas served the same way as they were serve 100 years ago. Pretty historic. Tastes great . Only issue was it was very filling. Ate it for lunch and probably wont need dinner. Its a good problem to have. Keep up the great work.
