This was really great. Food got delivered by the nicest guy. Even arrived 15min earlier than expected. Food was hot, fresh and exactly to order. I could not have asked for a better experience. Economically priced for all the food you get. Enough left over for snack later or lunch tomorrow. UPDATE second order just a great as the first.
Extremely reasonable food prices, excellent customer service, excellent food.
I've been here nearing a dozen times and every time we've been seated and had our drink orders taken within' one minute.
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Service, food, atmosphere! My favorite!
Food is always cooked to order. Noodles and fried rice are delicious. Tried pepper chicken this time and was not disappointed. Have enjoyed their beef and broccoli, walnut shrimp, chop suey, and orange chicken in the past and have always enjoyed.
We always get take out, so I cannot comment on atmosphere, but they are always kind and helpful when we pick up our food. Everything is always packed and ready to go.
I recently moved to La Habra and was looking for a good Chinese restaurant and I went to few other spots and it was so so. Until recently someone told me about Oriental Chinese restaurant and I gave it a try yesterday. The ordered the house chow fun, the chicken moo shu and cashew nut shrimp and I was amazing. When I first work in, I got a warm welcome from the staffs and I love the Chinese lanterns that decorated inside the restaurant. I will definitely go back.
Great food. Great service. Sizzling rice soup was excellent. Fried rice was awesome. I recommend this place.
Delicious food and very good service. Thanks
Great food. Fast service. Pleasant atmosphere. And best of all prices aren't bad!!
Any time we want Chinese food, this is our first choice. Their food is authentic & reminds me of the Chinese food from my youth.
They have items (like Egg Foo Young) that you don't see on many menus, and they do it really well.
The staff are very nice, patient if you have questions and very prompt.
You can go there in casual dress or more dressy if you are going out. It is a nice resturant also great to take visitors from out of town, or business meetings.
This place is located in the Sycamore Plaza. It has been open for more than 30 years, which should tell you how good the restaurant is. And how old, by the title (newer places don't use the word "Oriental" anymore). The food is excellent, just slightly more oil than I would have wanted, but, as usual, you get a lot of food and made the way I'm used to, having come from the East coast.
I feel generous, but this place is more like a three to three and a half stars. I want to help them do better, since it seems that only people over 65 patronize this restaurant. Yes, it is one of those old classics there are slowly but surely disappearing. The food is not bad, it's not great either. The spring roll was on the pasty side and not fried to order which means it was lukewarm. The chicken chow mein had very little protein, no wok hai, more steamed, but at least have some bean sprouts and green onions. The picture of the chicken was a little bit off like it was boiled before used in the recipe.. The hot and sour soup was the best thing but the portion sizes, oh my, were all ridiculously small. Might try their dinner menu one day and see if they're a little bit more generous when you pay a more.
Great food for the price. Nice big portion. Me and my family visit there yesterday. But I order the wrong dish. It was lot's of sauce . My bad but I pay for the dish. Even though I didn't eat. Definitely going back. To order something different.
