Amazing Mexican food seems like one of the more authentic Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. The place is well kept. The service was great very helpful waiters and waitresses. Felt like I couldn’t stop eating with how good the food was. I highly recommend this place!
It was a busy Friday evening. My friend asked for a refill on her coke. The waitress took her cup. Fifteen minutes later, the waitress returned with 2 cups of soda and gave my friend one. She took a drink and it was Dr Pepper. Hopefully, she got a new cup and straw... Our check was overcharged, too. Took another 20 minutes to get it figured out. Poor people are waiting for a table, too.
Had the Chile Relleno, Cheese Enchilada and tamale combo, #16. Great for taking leftovers home.
This is our new "go to place" for casual Mexican food near La Mirada. The food is good, prices reasonable, service is friendly and good.
I understand the original Sr. Campos sold his restaurant to some current employees. The one I spoke with was very friendly and proud of his management. He should be because everyone there works as a team and are obviously happy to be there. This combination makes for a very pleasant meal. Lately we have visited almost weekly and never had a poor experience!
My aunt has been going here for many, many years and whenever I visit her this is where we have dinner. I love it , Margaritas & yummy food!
We stumbled upon this place and I'm overall pleased with our experience. I tried the chile relleno, tamale, rice and beans, and they didn't disappoint. I wished the chips were a little less crispy, but the salsa was delicious! The service was a bit slow, and it made me chuckle when they brought our meal out on what looked like a service push cart you'd clear dirty dishes away with at a banquet event. The decor can definitely use a facelift (although it did channel a 1940's speak easy) and the restroom could use a good deep cleaning, especially the floors. In the end I go to restaurants for the food and not the decor, so I certainly won't let that deter me from returning.
My cheese enchilada plate qas awesome! Nice and hot plate. However, the sauces are not spicy as it should be for a traditional Mexican meals! In. My. Opinion!!!

Lord Rosier made a rare in person appearance today at his former favorite watering hole.lord Rosier is said to be a living breathing Demon. He has been seen in many places with his on off girl friend Christine. There has been a lot of questions rewarding the validity of their friendship.
This place is simply outstanding! I've been coming here since I was a little kid in the 80s and early 90s. They've stood the test of time. From what I understand, since the original founders/owners passed away, the staff banded together and took ownership. They've always had awesome and authentic Mexican food. Sometimes, especially on Sundays or whenever they get large groups they get overwhelmed and the service can be lengthy, which is understandable. We used to go for brunch after church just about every Sunday, until we moved out of the area. I plan to come back some day soon. If you're in the area, give Señor Campos a try! They're awesome 👌
We normally love to eat here, but the service the last few visits have been inconsistent. We would arrive and be seated and it would take 20 minutes to get a drink order in, and another 20 minutes to get our food order in. The reason I write this review is because I noticed customers who arrived after us received much faster service than us. I hope the management can fix this issues in the future because we love having lunch and dinner here.
I have been going to this restaurant for years now. The food and the service is amazing. They make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. My favorite waitress is sookie not sure if that's how you spell her name but she is beautiful person and it's always happy to see you.
I loved the Taco Guadalahabra, famous here in La Habra. It's a very large burrito sized taco with meat, beans, rice, guacamole, sour cream and ample lettuce and tomato. Add your own salsa according to your preference.

We were a family celebrating the patriach's 75th birthday. Noisy, yet we may have been making the most noise!! Good place for a celebration. Great and patient waitress.

My favorite place to celebrate family achievements: graduation from OLG school, First Communion and Confirmation. Now with Covid-19, they are struggling as are other sit down restaurants. Food is great, service is wonderful. Join them when you can.
