Harry's Coffee Shop - La Jolla - Photo album

The veggie omelette and the chicken apple sausage plate were both excellent. The hash-browns especially were delicious - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Huge portions, and really excellent diner fare.
We went on a whim to HARRY's COFFEE SHOP today, just because my partner was in the mood for some pancakes. We got a disabled parking spot in their parking lot in the back of the restaurant, and were seated right away. I always wanted to try their EGGS FLORENTINE, and it didn't disappoint!!! I aske
Okay. Let's get to the important stuff right off the bat (cliche' noted). There is a rather large and free parking lot behind the building that I don't think ever gets mentioned. Awesome food, service, and price. There is a good reason why this place survived for over 60 years. Coffee was decent, too. I loved the oatmeal pancakes. Fruit parfait, or fruit bowl with yogurt and granola was excellent and generous. Tuna melt sandwich was delicious and even had a gluten free optio
First time here! It was busy and yet we were seated right away! They have a parking lot behind the cafe. We ordered chicken fried steak & soft over easy eggs and Corned beef hash ( see photo) & eggs.
Exceptional food, service, and affordability are the hallmarks of this establishment, and its longevity of over 60 years attests to its quality. The coffee, along with delightful offerings like oatmeal pancakes and a generous fruit parfait, was quite satisfying. A notable feature is the availability

A fixture in downtown La Jolla. Been there over a dozen times, everytime I've gone there's always been a 5-10min wait, it's just a popular place! Lots of seats at the counter and booths.
Excellent home cooked food and the best horchata cold brew! Friendly and attentive staff. Love going here when I visit San Diego
Best diner, coffee shop, greasy spoon, whatever you want to call it. Delicious food. Perfect hash browns. Really really good. Chicken fried steak with sausage gravy. Highly recommend if you’re into this stuff like I am.
