No food pics but our party of TEN was hungry after the area adventures. I called ahead and was so happy to secure a full table to accommodate us. We were welcomed in and served promptly. The entree wait was impressive at about 20 minutes, though we ordered a spinach artichoke dip appetizer with extra French baguette to tide us over. Kids enjoyed the coloring. We come on occasion with our out of town guests… just not this size group usually. Thank you BC!
We came here for brunch right when it opened. There’s no wait for the indoor seating. We ordered banana foster French toast, braised beef egg Benedicts and chilaquiles. They were great especially banana foster French toast. The view was great. We preferred the indoor seating as it wasn’t too smelly with the sea lions near by.
My sister and I ate here roughly two years ago. I ordered the Carne Benedict and it was mouth watering. I couldn't wait to come back and enjoy another great breakfast plate. This time I ordered the Carnitas Chilaquiles. To no surprise it was delicious and savory. I also ordered the Bananas Foster Coast Toast to share with the fam. Very light sweat breakfast treat. To drink, the Chai Latte. Which was a delight.
Sitting outdoors, with the ocean as a backdrop, no waiting to be seated, and the meal price is perfect for the taste the chef cooks up. It doesn't get any better than that. And it's always nice to go for a stroll along the beach to walk off breakfast. Also, midnight (my dog) enjoyed an egg bacon bowl with a cup of water.
The additional breakfast plates is what the rest of the family ordered. Any plate you order will make you want to return.
Visiting from Central NY. Was walking by and decided to eat dinner here. Reservations are strongly suggested. Even without reservations I was seated inside with a fabulous view of the water. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive.
Very nice ocean side restaurant with a view! I had the berry Coast Toast. The food was honestly just okay for me, but the service was really good and the view was nice 🙂 the area generally smells a bit because of the sea lions but it wasn't terrible. We also got the best table in the restaurant 🙂
First time here. Absolutely loved it. It was highly recommended to us and we highly recommend anyone to try it out, you will not be disappointed. Service and view is awesome.
Delicious!! And the best view, try to sit outside if you can and you can hear the sea lions barking across the street! We got the Tropical Iced Tea, BV Mocha, S’Mores Coast Toast, and Carnitas Chilaquiles. So good, especially the carnitas. 10/10 recommend.
brockton villa is my favorite brunch place in la jolla! the location is simply amazing and the food is delicious. seeing the sea lions in the cove is always a hit 🦭
What a delightful way to start your morning! Staff was super friendly. Fred, our server , gave great recommendations, was sincere and genuine with his service. The host was always smiling and efficient with seating. The busser was clearing tables instantly. We enjoyed the carnitas chilequiles, the bananas French toast, the breakfast burrito, and a bowl of tropical fruit. Thank you for taking great care of your guests.
Such a sweet place! Food was wonderful and our server was lovely. We were serenaded by the seals in the ocean across the street. This place is a beauty!!
