A classic Bird Rock institution that’s been around for decades. The food is great and the salsas are even better! I love the habanero and tomatillo salsas so much here. The chicken and lobster tacos are super flavorful and juicy as well. As you eat, you can sit on the back porch and see the Pacific
The best fish tacos! Just amazing food overall. In a great location, and an awesome patio view of the ocean. Very casual taqueria with great prices. Food is phenomenal. Prices are a great as well.
I’ve been going here yearly for over 5 years. I used to stick to their rolled tacos, which were always tender and flavorful. Since expanding my pallet, I was interested to try their tacos. Went with the carne asada taco, it was alright. Beef could have had more flavor. My partner got the torta & it
Food is very good. View is perfect and seating outside eating carne asada with beer is relaxing and lovely 😊 I t’s not clean and does not have a place for recycling. Guy at the counter is very informative and he knows what to do for sure.
Fantastic Mexican food. Tortillas and chips are so fresh. Tasty chicken tacos with a generous amount of meat. Staff is friendly, outdoor dining area has a view of the ocean.
Popped in here for an early dinner having driven by and caught the eye. Ordered 3 tacos, rice and chips between 2 of us. Tacos were Shrimp, Mahi Mahi and Beef. All excellent. Sat on the terrace at the back overlooking the car park but don’t let that put you off. It wasn’t packed but there was a s
UPDATE I recommend the carne asada burrito. I do not recommend the mahi-mahi burrito. PRIOR UPDATE $1 added to credit card purchases. I don't believe in that. ORIGINAL REVIEW I got the carne asada burrito, it came with chips, and small bowls for salsa. I thought it was very good. It's a good s
Every time I'm in San Diego, I stop here for the best fish tacos of my life. These pictures are almost 2 year apart, and the tacos taste exactly the same. My wife got an Enchilada plate and loved it (though she would have like more cheese, but we're originally from Wisconsin so there you go). You
Small and relaxed spot with a great view on the back deck. Perfect for a quick, delicious, and inexpensive meal. Order and pay at the counter when you arrive then take your meal out back for an awesome sunset view.
Nice little local spot, you can get a view of the ocean and the tacos are tasty. Staff is very nice. They even have a food truck in their own parking lot with additional options. Definitely give this place a shot.
I eat here probably 3 times a week. The food is always high quality, the staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Love it!
Hands down, the best fish tacos in SD!!!
Love the food there as always Nice service, great food Good location Reasonable prices and deals Great Mexican food, I really recommend this place for hangout with family and friends. This restaurant has dining and seating indoor and outdoor.
The food is tasty, well seasoned and fresh. The my good good size portions — which is always nice. The margarita was OK — too much sour mix and not enough tequila. But, overall good experience. The staff is polite and friendly. When I’m back in San Diego I would visit again and refer this spot.
