This place has a whole wall of their coffee merchandise and are very quick to serve you your drink. They are always attentive and well staffed with a good sharing of new deals and new products. There are many tables however it is always hard to find a seat. They also have a basket by the door that always has the papers of the day available for anyone to read. Good wifi.

Enjoyable; my drinks have always been good, though I find it's difficult to get a table here at any time of day. It's great that they made a point to say the restroom is "all genders," but I wish they kept it a little cleaner.

Definitely better than Starbucks for one simple reason - free WiFi! Whereas Peet's website does not advertise that this particular store offers free WiFi, but it does, much to my surprise (and relief to my poor biking legs). However, the continuous background classical music and not so chill A/C knocks a star off from this place. The coffee is great...better than SB's! There is a motley crowd and a nice feel to the place. Having moved from the East coast, I miss the Caribou chain (free Wifi AND free refills for regular cofffee, as opposed to 90c per refill here) that is glaringly absent here. The tables feel a little small to use a laptop on and there are not convenient and enough power sockets to plug in.

Drinks: Caffe Latte I consider myself a coffee drinker having atleast 1 morning and 1 afternoon coffee daily. My visits to San Francisco would almost always have some Peet's in there. These have started popping up south allowing Angelinos and San Diegans to have the opportunity to try the Bucks alternative. This specific location in La Jolla is the closest to UCSD, so you can expect students everywhere with their textbooks. Most commented about the noise level, but what can you expect in such a populous coffee shop with nearly every seat filled. The lines on this Sunday morning were consistently 5 people long with most leaving immediately due to lack of seating. If there's one thing I like at Peet's better than Bucks, it's the Caffe Lattes. The frothiness in Peet's always seem to be tastier. I wouldn't go for anything sweeter on the menu for fear of completely converting to Peet's. The rewards program at Bucks, is truly what keeps me there.

Different than the biggest chain coffee shop with coffee that isn't over roasted. Busy at 7am on weekdays. Friendly staff, clean, and comfortable setting.

Love this one in particular, wrote most of my thesis here, great location. Major Dickason's blend, aka the coffee you get when you just say you want a cup of coffee, is a magical cup of smartitude.

We love the coffee. We stopped in for a morning a coffee and small food item. There is only one bathroom and it was not the best but ok. The coffee and food items were great.

This location has closed permanently. :( Thank you Pete’s La Jolla employees for great coffee & tea, and thanks for keeping a friendly coffee house! This was my favorite coffee house in this neighborhood. The Shops At La Jolla Village needs a new coffee house!

While Starbucks is good and reliable (and everywhere) if there is a Peet's around I will always choose that first. This is the local store I go to for my weekly latté

The service was adequate, the drink good and delivered quickly. Not many tables, though. I can imagine it getting crowded during certain parts of the day.

I like Peet's coffee, so four stars. It's a pretty routine Peet's, a little on the small side and just in a local strip mall

This place makes a great cup of joe. The downsides can be an incredibly long line in the morning and little to no parking.
