Grabbed lunch here yesterday after a day out in the water at La Jolla Shores. The location is great if you want a quick bite to eat after the beach. I ordered a burrito that definitely hit the spot, but the guacamole I got with it seemed like the processed guac cups you can buy at the food store. I prefer the chunky, fresh tasting kind. The restaurant also gets knocked down a few ticks from me because 1.) its outside tables were dirty, and 2.) the employee that served us was seemingly miserable and not very happy to be serving us.
Excellent staff and the fish and shrimp tacos were great for the price. Kids loved the rolled tacos
Food is not too bad. It's pretty good for "fast Mexican" food but it's a bit expensive for "fast Mexican". I only go there for a convenient reason.
We love breakfast burritos which are served all day. Yummy salsas, a fun neighborhood and great counter service. Very family friendly. Lots of quesadillas!
Went swimming with leopard sharks and then had a burrito from these guys. It was both filling and tasty. 10/10

Had the California Burrito, it was delicious! I'd say the only fault is that the guac is a bit too concentrated but it's otherwise it's great.
Chips and beans were extremely standard, not sure how a place would have something that stands out though.
Accepts AMEX and the service is great! They brought the food to my table.
This spot is near La Jolla beach, and it’s wonderfully located. The staff is welcoming. I ordered beef relleno plate with rice and beans. It was so good! The portion size is definitely more than what I expected. Service was fast. For my drink, I ordered Horchata which is the perfect drink for the hot weather. Lots of flavor! U felt so full after eating here! Price is definitely worth it!
I love this Mexican restaurant, I always go there to get a California burrito. It’s definitely more affordable compare to the other restaurants near by. The have a good selection of Mexican food. I highly recommend trying it out!
A laid-back beach atmosphere just like you would expect in La Jolla. Find parking where you can during the summer as it is always busy. Nestled in a strip of various food joints of various price ranges, this place is slightly pricier than Mexican food places away from tourists areas, but quality and location are worth it!
I went for the three beef rolled tacos w guac, lettuce, and cheese. They came piled as a pyramid so every one was well covered with toppings. The tacos were just the right amount of crispy. There was plenty inside and outside.
So good! Exactly what you want after a day at the beach. Try the Cali Supreme burrito!
Not a bad restaurant, we are in sandiego though so much better Mexican food out there, Puesto is just at the cove and el agave is more downtown, 2 restaurantz that are Mexican I would much recommend over this,.if you are in the area just do piattis
Very nice place. I got the spicy Cheeto burrito and it was AWESOME. Big, nice size and super filling!!
Really good if you're famished from doing some beach activities! I enjoyed it with friends! Would eat again.

The food at this place is just great! We had a chile relleno burrito, carne asada burrito and the tortilla chips are very good, good service and good prices.

Delicious! Perfect quick breakfast! I got the fish taco and my boyfriend got el mananero burrito. Really good and the cashier that took our order was super nice! The tables were also clean.
Steak and egg breakfast burrito was delicious and huge!
No frills, no bs— just solid straight-to-the-point tacos. I got one fish and one carne asada taco— they were just what I needed. Good portions and prices— what I expected to be a snack became much more of a meal.
