Scoops La Jolla - La Jolla - Photo album

Scoops is the spot if you want late night ice cream in La Jolla. My niece wanted ice cream for her birthday after swimming at the beach. The only ice cream shop we could find open after 8pm was Scoops. I sure am glad we found them. The atmosphere was nice and the employees were helpful and friendly.
Nice craft ice cream shop (non-chain). Situated on Avenida de la Playa where all the food places near La Jolla Shores seem to be located.
Was in San Diego for a few days; went here every day to get ice cream. Their ice cream is incredible. My favorite is the Earl Gray and Green Tea flavor couldn't get enough of it. Next time I'll come back to San Diego I'll have to pay this place a visit again.
Came on a Sunday afternoon, was a bit of wait (5 minutes in line). The crepe was amazing (Nutella strawberry and banana), the Brown sugar cookie dough ice cream as well. They have outdoor seating (front sidewalk and parklet/streetary).
Very good ice cream spot with lots of toppings. I love the honey peanut butter and brown sugar cookie. The oat milk cookie dough was alright and the special one with salted caramel was too cinnamony for me. It's heavy ice cream though :)
The cookies and cream ice cream had a weird powdery flavor to it, although we weren't sure what it was. We were a little disappointed, so many options were sold out. I ordered the strawberry rhubarb crumble with basil leaves and that had a really cool and interesting flavor. The crepes looked great
the place is just 5 mins walking from the beach, has a beautiful ambiance and great ice cream
Been coming around the area for years and never noticed Scoops La Jolla before. Stopped by for dessert and glad my friends and I did. When you walk in you can smell the waffles and crepes cooking. Yummy! I had the Vanilla Bean on a cake cone. Satisfying! My other friends ordered their ice cream and
Tall blonde worker was very patient, kind, caring, and generous - I knew I was in good hands from the moment he handed me that sample spoon and our eyes locked. Ice cream was good too.
The best ice cream place in La Jolla and perhaps even all of San Diego. Must try their Marionberry cheesecake, Honeycomb, Choco Dulce flavors… very unique and super delicious. Crepes are great too. If you see a line outside, just remember it’s worth the wait. So go for it.
