The spicy fried rice is outstanding! I choose level 2 spicy and it's really amazing! Tom Yum soup is amazing as well! Love this cute store.
Just so you know but a 9 is 9 on spice level. Pad thai was amazing. I had the Yellow curry lunch special and the Salmon Avocado. This is my official to go spot for sushi and thai. Highly recommend. Price is cheap compared to other areas ranging 15 and up in downtown.
I ordered the hot basil with chicken, basil, broccoli, and mushroom. And I also ordered the drunken noodles without onions. The hot basil dish was excellent and came with rice. I’m from the east coast and it’s rare to find that authentic Thai spice taste out here, so I was thoroughly impressed. The
The Pad Thai was perfectly flavored. The pork was dry though. It was very affordable. I would come again to try the other dishes.
Great food with a great service. The Pad Thai was good and pad see yaw was really good. The restaurant is not big and seems that it mostly caters to carry-out crowd. We conversed with the owner a bit, whose business was impacted by Covid and homelessness. It’s tough, and both issues are mostly out o
Amazing spot for a delicious and affordable lunch. The owner had the place closed down for a catering even but still offered to make us food. She was super sweet and caring. 10/10 will return.
Had previously been to Thailand, this food reminded me much of it. Delicious! This family own restaurant is at the top of my list of restaurants I’d come back to. Amazing atmosphere and very very kind owners.
My mom and I had a really positive experience here, they made sure they understood what spice level we each wanted and the dishes were absolutely delicious and perfectly spiced! Superb service and food 👌🏻
Great food, great staff. Everything was delicious perfect amount of spice. Great prices as well! Definitely recommend
Delicious and good price. Food is fresh and taste exactly like I was hoping for. Service was quick and great. I would recommend for sure and will come back!
Authentic Thai food. Our family loved it. Highly recommend their spicy fried rice. We like our food spicy and their level 10 was just right! 🙂
Visiting San Diego and was craving Thai food. Elated to have found this gem - it’s a must try!! The food was incredibly flavorful and delicious and the owner was so lovely! We got the spring rolls, gyoza, house fried rice, and yellow curry. Happy with everything we ordered and would definitely recom
Received a warm greeting, and were seated promptly. Small and friendly setting with sidewalk seating available. I enjoyed the curries, yellow and penang. Tofu soup was delicious too.
Best Thai food I’ve had in San Diego! The spicy level accuracy is also very impressive
I ordered the Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai to go and it was very quick! The food was really good! I got a level 5 spice on a scale of 1-10 and it was the right amount of spice. Overall, I would definitely come back.
Fantastic sushi and curry! More than anything, fantastic people running the place. We were the only ones there eating late on a Monday and got a chance to chat with the wife in the married duo behind Thai Island. Their love for the spot and their passion for supporting their son in med school struck
This restaurant was a great experience. The food was excellent, (The best Thai that I have had in San Diego thus far to date). The atmosphere was beautiful & calming, and the service was excellent as well. Will definitely come here again.
