This is the most fresh tasting Mexican food. Everything I try I love! All the fried items I've had taste very clean and are not oily. They know how to fry! I appreciate that.
Fast and friendly service thru drivethru. Unfortunately I couldn't believe to find the avocado skin and produce sticker in the guacamole buried in my carne asada burrito.

It was just what I was looking for. It is diagonally across the street from the Sombreros but I did not want to wait for the stop light. Unlike the other shop, they used lettuce instead of cabbage. It probably explains why it was a better price.
What they lack in bathroom options and hot sauce, they make up for in burritos that are three dollars cheaper. Just be sure to tell them "No ice" when ordering drinks. They filled it to the top with ice !
I got the carne asada plate and it met my expectations. They gave me plenty of carne asada, rice and beans portion were kinda small, which is average compared to most taco shops. I got 2 huge flour tortillas though.
The 5 rolled tacos we're good with plenty of sour cream, lettuce and cheese. This is my girl's go-to dish.
I usually get their California burrito which is good also. If you're in this part of the neighborhood, you can't go wrong here.
This is my favorite and loved by many, Mexican food shop.. the speed of service is phenomenal, and it does not compromise on taste and flavor. Everything here is tasty, well priced and speedily made. The kitchen is immaculately clean, and so is the outside seating area. AND, there is a DRIVE THROUGH as well... The rating of this restaurant is 99 on San Diego Food and Health app. This shop is renowned from SD to LA and you just can't get any other place like this... They have been in the same location making amazing food for over 20 years now

Why do we even think about going elsewhere for authentic Mexican food in San Diego? This little eatery is the best. Fast service but slow cooked flavour. Between the four of us, we ordered combos #1, 5 and 9. Enough for leftovers although for some of us the temptation to eat all of our delicious meal at once proved to be too great.
They have the BEST Chile Verde burritos in San Diego. This is my go-to place. Never a bad meal here.

Great place to get late night eats after the bar. They are open late and you can sit outside to eat. The rolled tacos are good, and the horchata isn't super sweet.
