Cherrywine was a fantastic spot for dinner. The sushi was outstanding and very fresh. My husband and I highly recommend the Spicy Tuna roll. We also ordered the strawberry sake which came in this adorable cup. The service was perfect. They were attentive, friendly, and gave wonderful recommendations. We sat on the patio which had ambient lighting and had an adorable view of the nightlife across the street. Highly recommend!

If you haven’t been here, the view is amazing! Lots of vegetarian options and great service. Our favorite was the sushi, and we wish we could have tried more. Super clean and bright.

This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend trying it out. We happened upon it by accidentally while looking for a place to sit outside and eat. We were met with incredible service and the food was amazing. I recommend the gyoza, phenomenal. If you're looking for a relaxing place for lunch or dinner, look no further.

My wife and I have spent the last week touring California from north to south, and the C Jack Noodles with Shrimp at Cherrywine was by far my favorite meal of the trip. If you enjoy garlic, you’ll enjoy this dish. Also had the gyoza which were very flavorful. The service and the views are incredible as well.

Barely noticed the sign and door on Prospect & Girard but glad we came in. Covered balcony seating so we saw the nearby beach @ La Jolla Cove/Point La Jolla. Good Asian food. My Bento box was great and wife enjoyed her sushi.

This is a great Burmese restaurant, with great options for vegetarians! They can make Thai iced tea which is delicious as always, and the samosa rolls are very lightly flavored but tasted great! Ask to sit outside if it's a nice day or it's not too busy, and you won't be disappointed with the view of the ocean! The staff/owners are very friendly and will happily explain any parts of the menu.

Cherry Wine has been the best hidden gem on our vacation this far. Not only was the food incredible, but the service and atmosphere was out of this world. Art and his Wife were fantastic and extremely kind, and super personable. I had the shrimp tempura roll, and it was some of the best sushi i’ve ever had. I cannot recommend this place enough!! It was fabulous. Best meal I have had in San Diego.

What a lucky find! Having lived in Burma a couple of decades ago, we are always looking for authentic versions of our favorite dishes. We found them at Cherrywine! The tea salad was fantastic - slightly spicy and with a perfectly balanced combination of ingredients. The spicy shrimp was also outstanding, with a nice light rice and salad to balance the heat. The service and space were excellent as well - we highly recommend giving it a try!

Food-wise, I’ve had better sushi in my life, but this was not too bad! Giving 4-stars due to the suspicious vibe of the restaurant. All other sushi restaurants in La Jolla were packed and had an hour wait (7 PM on memorial weekend Sunday) so we chose this spot but were the only ones there, which gave us the feeling that either not that many people know about this place or that there is something wrong with this spot. My recommendation for the staff is to spend a bit more money on advertising and also get rid of the couches that were randomly placed in the middle of the restaurant, because the food had potential.

Great Asian food, great service and ambience. The staff are friendly and courteous. The food is great. The outdoor sitting is fun, suitable for people looking to work in peace alone or eat out with friend. The indoor is romantic and calm. The Sushi was amazing. They also have Boba tea, a great selection of wine and mimosas. One of the best eats near La Jolla cove.

This place was so good that we went there twice during our four day stay! The sushi was fresh and the noodle dishes were so flavorful! The chicken stir fry will be one of those things that I will be craving from now on! We sat outside both times and had a beautiful view of the cove! The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly!

Love food from this place. Every time we go to La Jolla our family always stops by Cheery Wine Asian cuisine. Foods here are very fresh and tasty.

The service was absolutely fantastic! I wholly recommend cherry wine just for this aspect alone. This restaurant, mixed with a very charming atmosphere and a fantastic array of dishes ranging from sushi, poké to the good, solid and well known Asian food. They sport a healthy amount of alcohols that mix well with any entrée. I personally recommend the Sapporo or Karin with the Lajolla roll, as it was absolutely delicious. Overall, Everything was served expediently as well as friendly, I would most certainly come again!

Had lunch here for the first time. Wow! So incredibly good. Great food and incredible views of La Jolla and the Pacific Ocean! We had one of their bento boxes for lunch. The Tempura Shrimp Combo was sublime. Great taste as well as presentation. Prices were very reasonable, too! If you want a great view ask for a seat under either the red or blue umbrella. While this is on the second floor they do have an elevator in addition to their stairs. Give them a try and see for yourself!
