Grabbed the special of the day the Alambre burrito, chips and flan. Every single bite was a fantastic joy to the tongue. I recommend this place for its food and variety of sauces. Food came out hot and fast. Staff was friendly. Only thing negative I could say was that the staff looked tired and would respond with low volume
I've been eating here for years and I've never had a bad experience... I've recently been stuck on the Caldo de Pollo which is absolutely delicious I've had it 3 times over this last weekend...

Los Panchos has a great menu. They have great chef specials and special burritos if you want to change it up from your classic California burrito. They have this chipotle sauce surf and turf that is really good. Their breakfast burritos are really good too.
I live right down the street from them and probably get food here once every 2 weeks. The drive through can get develop a decent line during prime dinner time so keep that in mind.

Lots of salsa, carrots, cucumber and peppers. Chips are often offered while you wait. Just the nicest folks! Love this spot.

I'm a regular! I always get the beef rolled tacos... I love that they're ground beef. I know that's not for everyone, but I really like it.
They're hot sauce is my favorite in all of San Diego. It's spicy, but I love it.

I have nothing but great things to say about Los Panchos. I stopped in about an hour ago while walking in the area and I’m so glad I did! The cashier was very friendly and helped me choose my order (I’m quite indecisive) and I eventually ordered an adobada burrito. I also asked if they could make it really really spicy (as spicy as they possibly could). Unlike other restaurants I’ve been to, the staff were very accommodating to my request. They also provided me chips and beans while I waited and there was a substantial salsa selection to choose from. When my burrito was delivered to my table (quickly I might add) I was very impressed with the quantity of food I received. The burrito was huge and overall I think my food was great value for what I paid ($11.22). As for the taste of the burrito, it was absolutely delicious! While it was not super spicy, it definitely had a significant bite to it and I could tell the staff had tried their best to meet my request (most similar restaurants do not). The spice itself had great flavor and overall I really enjoyed my meal. All the staff were very kind and gave off very positive vibes, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant too. I would absolutely return to Los Panchos and would recommend it to anyone looking for great Mexican food in the area!
My boyfriend and I have been coming here for a few years now. I dont know why I haven't thought of giving it a fantastic review. But tonight we came in for dinner and their bean soup was unusually better than ever(if that's at all possible!) And then our plates came out and Wow! So delicious!!! I finally said."I gotta give this place a five star review!!" My boyfriend always gets a extra crispy carnitas tostada and a carne asada burrito (to go) and I decide on the 5 rolled chicken tocos.
I wished I had thought of taking pictures to show you how beautiful they present their food. If you dine in, you are gifted with the BEST bean soup you've ever tasted along with chips and a variety salsa bar to fullfil your need for spice.
I asked their friendly cashier (Cynthia) what is their cooks name and she said "Javier" with the biggest smile ever. I hope if you're in the neighborhood, that you'll stop by and try it. I promise you wont regret it.

Our favorite little Mexican takeout place. We now eat in because the complimentary bean soup and chips you get are amazing. Also the salsa bar has many choices including grilled peppers and perfectly spiced carrot slices.
Got the fish rolled tacos and birria tacos. Delicious!!
As a native San Diegan, who to recently relocated to the East Coast, I miss tacos a lot but also the salsa and accoutrements that I used to take for granted. Trust me, San Diego, appreciate what you got here!
The staff were friendly, food was delicious and I got free pinto beans, chips, salsa and hot carrots....unheard of in Philly. (Their corn tortillas fall apart)

Food portions are amazing!! Price is great!!! The carne asada is sooooooooo tender!!!! The shrimp is cooked perfectly👌. The surf n turf cali is probably my favorite burrito of all time as of now. No other burrito has matched the ingredients and the tenderness of the carne asada and shrimp that is cooked inside. To me, it is put together perfectly. I dont even like pico, but when i forget to ask them to remove it or if they've forgotten to remove it, i will still eat it and enjoy it. Thats why they get 4 stars for service, because they have put pico inside when ive asked them to remove it a couple times, but ive still eaten the entire burrito. And the price of this burrito is amazing, especially for the size of it. I am always more than satisfied after eating this burrito and i have quite an appetite!!! They make other great food too, but this burrito still holds the gold medal 🏅for the past 3 years since ive first had this burrito from here!! 2nd place is Chueys taco shop. And this is the 1st time that i choose quality over quantity. But like i said, i always feel satisfied after ive had this burrito. Congrats los panchos 👏 👏👏
Been here a couple times and have not been disappointed. They have great salsa's to chose from 🔥🔥. The prices aren't to bad pretty average and they give you free beans and chips to enjoy before your food comes! 🌯🌮😋
Place has great food. When I wrote this review I saw their current rating was 2.7/5 and couldn't believe it. They even have one of those Coke machines from 3017.

We pulled off I-8 initially looking for a gas station and found this gem right next door to the gas station. I highly recommend it and it is safe to say probably some of the best food we've had in the San Diego/Newport area in the last 4 days! Thank you!
This is not really 'fast food' since they make most items fresh for the order. If there are 2 or 3 cars in line, be prepared to wait a minimum of 15 minutes.
This is in no way a bad thing! The food is excellent!

Whenever I have a craving for Caldo de Res (if I choose not to make it myself) this is the place to go. Delicious every time. The employees are friendly and courteous. Great service!
