Came to the tire shop next door and was in the mood for some food. Got a breakfast croissant with avocado and it was great! A very pleasant surprise
Solid donut place! They have a huge selection of donuts as well as croissants and bagels. All of it looked great but I was in the mood for a donut. They’re a good thickness and airy as well. Perfect donut in my opinion. If you’re looking for something with lots of frosting this isn’t it because the donuts are so big you don’t get enough frosting for the whole donut, but if you’re like me and don’t like frosting it was perfect!
Will be back to try the other stuff!
this donut shop has been in business since i was young and i have great memories going here w my parents and i was lucky to relive those memories with my kids to where this is one of their favorite donut shops here in San Diego. THESE DONUTS HAVE BEEN GREAT FOR 20+ YEARS!!!!!
I really enjoyed these donuts. The iced coffee was ok. The strawberry and cream donut sandwich was really good. The strawberries were fresh and delicious. The blueberry and cream cheese croissant was pretty good. The strawberry crueller was decent.
Wow! These donuts are truly delicious. They are so airy inside that you can eat two or three donuts and tell yourself, it’s prob 100 calories, 150 TOPS. It’s just a secret you will keep to yourself. No one needs to know that you’re lying to yourself.
I was never a fan of the glazed donut, always a sprinkles chocolate kinda gal but trying the glazed, at this joint, WOW. It’s not overly sweet, instead chewy and moist. You can absolutely lick your fingers after eating this donut and I would not be grossed out by that. The other donut which I believe is a cinnamon donut or spiral. It’s the size of your head and it’s evenly cooked so there’s no crispy or odd pieces to chew on. If you drink coffee, I suggest getting a cup of coffee no sugar, and enjoy this semi-sweet treat that you DESERVE.
I’ll edit this review with photos the next time I get some donuts. I was able to share a box of donuts with my neighbors, and we ALL agreed that these donuts were yummy.
I'm sure the donuts and pastries are fine, but I come here for the sanwiches. The sanwiches are big and delicious and there's a good variety. You can get croissant as a bread option. They come with pickles and dirty potato chips. This is the place for lunch.
This is my go-to shop for donuts. Every few weeks I'll bring in two dozen donuts to the office. The women running this shop are always very pleasant and have always given me an extra donut per dozen. These classic donuts are delicious and definitely crowd pleasers. I have stopped going to fancy/gourmet donut shops, because time and time again mom and pop shops like this one always taste better.

The lady there was so nice and was very patient with me (I changed my mind about what I wanted). Fast service as well despite being busy. The donuts themselves are nice and soft, and the jelly ones were packed really full with the raspberry filling. Just what I wanted! Thank you!

THE LADIES WORKING WERE SOO NICE AND THEY HAD A HUGE SELECTION FROM COFFEES , DONUTS ( EVEN CUSTARD DONUTS , ECLAIRS , AND STRAWBERRY CREAM PUFFS)!! WE WERE FEELING FOR A BREAKFAST SANDWICH, ESPECIALLY THE AFTERNOON OF JAN 1ST , MY HUSBAND GOT A SAUSAGE EGG AND CHEESE SANDWICH ( HE ASKED FOR ALSO JALAPEÑOS ... THE WOMAN PUT IT IN HIS BAGEL WITH CHEESE ALL CRUNCHY ON THE OUTSIDE √√√√√√√ HE LOVED IT , 2 SAUSAGE PATTIES INSIDE AND WOW WHAT FLAVOR!!! I GOT A HAM EGG AND CHEESE ..... SOO MUCH MEAT AND FLAVOR ... SHOULD OF GOT MORE SANDWICHES TO GO HAHA !!! HONESTLY BEST SANDWICHES WE HAVE EVER HAD AT A DONUT SHOP !!! SOO GOOD !! Give this place some love because they honestly deserve it !! We aren't even from Sam Diego ... And this place has been the best meal of our trip down here !!!
This review is crazy LONG OVERDUE but I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. I took advantage of Linda Love's amazing cake designing services for my daughter's 1st birthday and it was PERFECT. Originally, 'Pre-COVID' we had planned a more extensive spread of donuts, cakes and cookies but because of the shut-down we opted for a cake and zoom call party. Although it wasn't the party we had dreamed of, it was everything it could have been because of the amazing unicorn cake Linda Love designed. We are forever followers of her and her work and will return for more special occasions. Also noted: she was polite, fast and very easy to work with---did I mention she made the most amazing cake in the entire world too? Highly recommend!

Haven't tried the donuts at all I go in for the cheese cake an strawberry glazed donut with whiped cream. An I have to say it is amazing an super delicious. Then keep it cold so it taste even better when it's cold.
Bit price for a dozen got charged almost $20 is that normal?
They make my croissant breakfast sandwich just the way I like it. Great san diego gem, thank you for making my morning breakfast awesome.

You all rock! This place made my nephew's birthday! I bought a last minute treat when I was visiting my brother and my nephew loved the donuts and the small cake we bought for him!!!
Go to for a sweet tooth.. or a cavity. But their best kept secret is the sandwich menu. Afterburner... No lie.
