Sizzle'n Steak House!. The Tenderloin, in La Verne (formerly Steer and Stein). Good old fashion steak house and NOT a corporate chain….Thank GOD! It's hard for me to NOT be partial to this hometown family owned restaurant.

While being seated I noticed a local police officer dining with his family. The room was also filled with senior citizens. These are signs of good food and service!

We sat in a room off to the side (good place for family birthdays/gathering by the way!) The restaurant was clean, staff was friendly and it smelled divine!

While placing my order my friends were texting me to order the infamous Pepper Steak!! I had already ordered the Tri-Tip. After my first bite, I knew I had made the right choice! The menu was diverse, the food was great and the prices were reasonable.

The highlight of the evening was as my steak was being delivered, you could hear the sound of SIZZLEING steaks!

THEY put the sizzle back into Steak!

First time here, came for my brother-in-law birthday dinner. I was a bit confused on the decor of the place since it has some western decor mixed with more modern look and Dim lighting. The food was good and a hefty portion. I tried the Prime Rib and Shrimp. The Prime Rib was cooked just like I asked, a bit fatty but good, the shrimp was very crispy . I will be back again to try some of the other dishes.

Always tasty! Great customer service, always!!!!!! Being a person of color, customer service is HUGE!!!!! My family always gets great customer service at the Tenderloin. Been dining here for over 20 years!!!! We never get treated, as if we do not tip well. Yes, I said it. Many servers treat minorities horribly. They assume we are poor and do not tip!!!!! It irritates the hell out of me. Anyways, The Tenderloin does not discriminate at all! YAY!!!!!!

Food was good. That was our first time there. I had the petite filet and it was so tender and cooked to my preference. Service was also very good, they were friendly and attentive. We would definitely go back.

Steaks were cooked perfectly to order. Service was right on, never needed to ask for a drink refill. Portions were a good size. Place was clean and can accommodate large groups.
