Esan Zap Cafe - Lacey - Photo album

We have recently returned from a 3 week stay in Thailand. We were missing the food so we gave Esan Zap a try. So happy we did. I kept it simple with phad thai with shrimp 2 star heat level. It was so good. The shrimp were plump and fresh. We also had the boat soup. It was also excellent.
As other's have mentioned, the wait for your food is very long. We ended up waiting for our food for about a hour after we arrived. If this were especially good food or an especially high-class restaurant, I would expect that, but this was neither. It tasted like pretty much every other thai place I
All of the food is good. But my fav one is cream cheese wonton. The satay is fine. The pad thai is not the best one I think.
Not to my taste but may have ordered the wrong items. Everything was cooked well however it tasted too strongly of black pepper for me. I like spicy food but I expect hot peppers rather than black pepper flavor in Thai food. Everything seems fresh so may be worth another visit and ask about more pop
We mentioned we need to leave early and the chef made accommodations to get our food ready quickly. We ordered eggplant curry and hot stuff. Very delicious, and eggplant was cooked and sauced well. Reasonable price and would drop by if we are near.
I was really looking forward to eating this for dinner. Last time I got it I got 1.5 spice level. i was able to eat it with no problem. This time I got the same spice level and it’s just too spicy. It’s not very consistent. I grew up eating my mothers Mexican food and could handle the spice. I like
I have been to multiple Thai restaurants. I love all the different styles. However I do have to say the spice the flavor and the textures are amazing. I give it a 4 star only because I don’t like the building it’s too cold and bright. However the food is amazing.
Clean. Nice staff if not overly friendly. One woman waiting on everyone and she mostly kept our waters full and was efficient. Ordered sausage appetizer ( good flavor if a bit dry..really needed a dipping sauce) and garlic goodness. They warn you that they spice their dishes hotter than most and so
