I always love coming to Walk Ons. The beer is always cold and the atmosphere is always nice. They offer delicious menu options, specials of the day, and even some really healthy options, like the tuna-tini which is delicious!
Their salads are one of the best in town. We are never disappointed. I recommend their tuna! Yum! We order at least once a week.
Their blood Mary's are good also.
This place is family oriented during the day, and adult driven at night. The girls are all pretty and friendly and the food is some great bar food. Don't expect it to be culinary masterpieces. The food is clean and the atmosphere is inviting. The beer is cold and plentiful. So I say check it out!
Yum. The Turkey Bacon Swiss Melt was outstanding. The turkey was sliced debris style and the bread tasted great. Other item ordered was a Chicken Cobb Salad which was very good. The portions were generous and we'll go back there again.
Was there for lunch twice now. Food is excellent. Had the grilled shrimp salad. Staff very friendly. Clean place.
Middle of the Road. Food was good and drinks are cold. I knew the waitress we had at the table last time I went so the service was pretty good. However, I have been there a few times where the service was slow. It's a good place to go for a sports game but not a great restaurant on its own. As far as a sports bar though, it is a top pick.
We do enjoy this place! It has good atmosphere! The staff is always friendly. The bar food is good. Burgars, sandwiches stuff like that! We did try the pasta and fried fish and étouffée but that was really not good. We know what to get and not to get it is a great place for a good burgar and beer!

I love the food at Walk-Ons but the service today was not good at all. It took about 10 minutes to get our drink order even taken. We didn't receive napkins until we were finished eating. Very lackluster service but the food was great.
Great burgers and well above average Cajun Cuisine. For the price you simply can not beat it. We had a party of 6 people and we all shared entrees. The atmosphere is unbeatable and so is the beer selection. Im definately a fan. Also I have had boiled crawfish everywhere in Lafayette and theirs are the best kept secret....even better than the overrated Crawfish Time

We ate at walk Ons for the first time last night and the staff was delightful and the atmosphere was great! Service was spectacular and fast! It's a great environment for families and also great for those late night owls! The drink specials get better as the night goes on. Would definitely recommend it! Food couldn't get any better!!! You should definitely check it out!!!!

A Good Sports Bar Menu & Atmosphere. Just remember, it's a sports bar that offers sports bar food. Having said that, the food offerings are really good. Fried pickles & spin/artichoke dip are fantastic. Burgers & sandwiches are HUGE & delicious. Waffle fries are really good. Angels on horseback-what a treat! There beer selection is really good. We did have one bad "service" experience. We were a table of about 12, we were seated outside on the patio. The service was HORRIBLE!!! It took them FOREVER to take drink orders & even longer to bring them out. They finally took our food order, after we went in & asked for our waitress 2 times. Food took over an hour to come out! I'm sorry but that is unacceptable. Couple of things were wrong with the order but we were pretty pressed for time since everything took so long, so we just rolled with it. I've been to the one in Baton Rouge many times & they are both good sports bars. I'll be back & hopefully the service situation for large groups will get better.
Favorite. One of our favorite places to eat. Fun sports bar atmosphere, good food, and good service. Family friendly and a fun place to watch a game. We go almost weekly and have liked just about everything that we have tried.
I ate there a while back & I have to say the service was "fair" and the food, although generous, was nothing to write home about. I will try them again though as the place was clean & seemingly well managed.
Amazing burgers!. I've only eaten from Walk On's twice, but both times I have had their classic burgers, and they were DELICIOUS!! The burgers were juicy, seasoned well, and done exactly how I like them! The waffle fries on the side were also a plus! My fiancee' and I ate there yesterday, and I must say the service was very good. The waitress was friendly and made us feel at home. I'm a huge sports fan and I loved the sports-bar themed atmosphere. If you want to go somewhere to watch the big game, Walk On's is definitely the place to be. There are big screen tv's everywhere you look and there's even tv's in the bathroom! I'm sure the other entrees are delicious, but if you're a burger and sports lover, try Walk On's! Fair prices for excellent food!
Pretty good. Whenever I go to a restaurant for the first time, I am always hoping that it will be my new favorite place. Can't say Walk-ons will be that favorite place but it was actually pretty good. Our waitress, Anne, was friendly and on the ball. I ordered the Angels on Horse back which were very tasty. I like the batter they use, it is crispy and has a nice flavor. The hush puppies were a bit overdone but were still delicious with a nice kick of jalapeno. My husband had the turkey burger which he enjoyed. My only complaint was that the music was really LOUD! I realize it is a sports bar but when you have televisions everywhere, customers talking (or trying to) and concrete floors that don't absorb any noise, the last thing you need is music blaring....talk about sensory overload! All in all not a bad place to drop by for a bite.
Good Food, Horrible Service. I've been there twice & i absolutely love the cajundillas and the red beans and rice. The atmosphere is great & I think sports junkies would really like this place, the only problem I have with Walk-On's is the service. The waitresses are rude, one of them bumped into me and didn't even excuse herself. I will be going back but if another incident like that happens again, somebody will be fired!!!
One of those places. Honestly, I've heard the hype surrounding the opening of new places in Lafayette. When Walk-On's opened, I said it would not last. When I ate there recently, I was pleasantly surprised. Although the sports bar theme is not my cup of tea, the food and service were good. The whole evening was a pleasant experience. There is better food options in Lafayette. However, don't dismiss Walk-On's.
Have really stepped up their game!. The first couple of months that they were opened they seemed a bit untogether but it has gotten sooo much better!
really fun atmosphere, good food, friendly staff...their patio is awesome, and they serve food till midnight and drinks till 2, this is definitely the place to be!

Awesome appetizer, loved the waffle cheese fries. Wife's shrimp po-boy was good, stuffed potato was outstanding. The zydeco salad was very good. We will come back soon!
Pretty good. The food is pretty tasty, the atmosphere is fun, the waitstaff... well not so much. Either way, the chicken & sausage gumbo has probably been one of my favorites...
The place is not exceptional, but I love the atmosphere so I'll probably keep going back. Plus, they serve a full menu until midnight.
Its ok. I like it .. its just not my favorite place... Ive already been here 3 times with different people and havent had good service yet. It always seems likes its there first job ever. So I guess Im just hoping they will get on top of there game because the food is good for the most part.. just one day had horrible marguaritas, but the next time I went it was good!
The white chocolate bread pudding with ice cream on top is the best thing on the planet!!
Delicious food, awesome drinks, and a fun, friendly waitstaff. Of course the restaurants going to be on a wait during popular lunch and dinner hours (i wouldn't expect it not to be, the place just opened) we had a 15 minute wait time as well but we were seated in about 7 minutes and the food and atmosphere was completely worth the wait. We split the sauteed crab claws, the blackened gator wrap, and the bread pudding. This is my new favorite restaurant!

Another amazing meal. (9-15-23) Chloe, our waitress, was great!! She was very pleasant, attentive, and patient while I was trying to figure out what I wanted to eat. Of course, I had to get my Eddys Red sangria. We started with fried pickles (it was happy hour), and I ended up getting the smoked gouda turkey sandwich with steamed broccoli. My husband got the Cali chicken wrap with waffle fries. It was nice and quiet for a mid day meal during the week. The restaurant was clean. And sadly, I ran out of room for my dessert. Was really looking forward to it. Maybe next time.
Never disappointed. (8-6-23) Tried something different. They were short staffed, but it was worth it. Started with mozzarella logs, I got the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of steamed broccoli, and my husband got the boom boom shrimp poyboy with fries. Also, I had an Eddy's red sangria drink (so good), and I also got a house margarita. Too full and no room for dessert. Waitress was very attentive and really nice. It wasn't too loud inside beings it was a week night.

The food was fantastic! Tasted very fresh and very flavorful. I love the lively atmosphere and the large variety of options to choose from. A little too large because I had trouble choosing lol everything looks so good! if you're from out of town, definitely stop by for a good Cajun experience and a nice cold beer!
This place was a typical sports bar average food. There are plenty of TV's if you want to watch a game.

Our food was really good. Boudin balls, shrimp and grits, fried shrimp, and chicken tender/ burger kids meals. Our food came out pretty quickly and our server was very attentive! I'd definitely go back!
Good spot to watch sports. Lots of beers on tap with plenty of big tv’s. Service has always been great. And yikes! The talent working behind the bar😳. Food is sports bar food its ok.

My wife and I love this restaurant. The establishment is real clean. We were there when the restaurant opened for business. We were immediately seated, and our server, Alyse, took care of our table. Our appetizers were amazing. Boudin balls are to die for! My wife ordered the ribeye steak. It was tender and flavorful. I ordered the Cajundillas. You've got to try these!! Overall, a real good dining experience. So by if you're near by.

can't understand why some locations just ALWAYS smell like urine! service is always good... really wish they didn't put "blackened seasoning" on everything because it is an overwhelming flavor i cannot stand!
Consistent quality food and service. Food tends to skew a little salty, but not overwhelming by any means. Great place for groups or for watching the game.
