Reviews Creole Lunch House

This was my first true experience with the incredible cuisine they refer to as Creole. Aside from my wife's Haitian cooking which is a bit different from the Louisiana interpretation. The Creole Lunch is very unassuming I'm appearance, and easy to miss if you are not looking. Nestled on the side of the road, I noticed the sign and the grassy parking lot. The inside is literally the inside of a house, giving it welcoming appeal. The place is a local, family-owned establishment and it shows in the food and hospitality. Now the matter of the food. It is bleeping epic! Everything I ate, and I ate half my weight in food, was delicious! The Jambalaya was spicy, savory, and teeming with flavor. As was the pork with dirty rice and collard greens. The food was so good, I ordered the Catfish Po Boy as a second entree and ate the whole damn thing. Needless to say it was life-changing. I left here full and sleepy. A meal I will remember for the rest of my life.

Great little place. The creole meat bread is amazing. I loved the mint added to the unsweetened tea. It's the attention to detail and flavor that really makes this place one of a kind.

It’s just what you expect on a side road restaurant. The difference is the food was really good. The folks are taking pride in what they are serving and it shows up in the food. Down home country cuisine. Nothing fancy but the food was good.

We go there every time we're in town. I love the chicken fricassee. You get plenty of food for a decent price.

Amazing food and customer service. One of my favorite places to get a great tasting soul food plate lunch. Always leave with a full stomach and a smile. Red gravy meatloaf and a Creole Stuffed Bread is pictured. Can't beat that!

I must say that the food was good. I'd prefer my food to be spicy, but it's a different story when serving the public. What's really unique about the restaurant is that it was once a house and is clean. The guy working there was extremely friendly. However, the female was not. I spoke twice and didn't get a response. A business must rely heavily on good customer service in order to prosper. Thank you....
