My bf wanted to try this place instead of Meche’s, let’s just say I was not too keen on trying something new at first. However, only really loving Krispy Kreme and always settling for our local donuts I agreed. Let’s say this, one bite in and I was convinced these are the best donuts in Lafayette area and not going elsewhere. I’ve had them probably 5 times in two weeks. Beware they are closed on Monday’s, I learned this the hard way. Everyone I’ve met at the location in the drive thru was so friendly. Definitely will be a regular and never looking back.
A-mazing donuts! Their cronuts are legit gourmet. Miko’s (formerly Jaks) is the only place in Lafayette to buy a cronut, and if you’re not familiar - it’s croissant- donut hybrid. Apple fritter also ranks high as does the buttermilk cake donut. We rarely eat donuts, but things have changed!
Staff was so sweet and the breakfast options were unique and more than just sweet options.
Jaks has great donuts, but they also have a very good King Cake. It has a little different texture than the other donut places. Definitely worth a visit!
This place has delicious doughnuts! I live in Carencro, so it's definitely out of the way for me. So if I'm willing to drive across Lafayette to get doughnuts here, you know they're good.
We visit every Sunday before church! The best all around breakfast food! Donuts are out of this world, especially the buttermilk donuts, and service is great! Can't wait to go again! The whole family looks forward to our weekly Sunday visit!
I love the donuts here! Always so fresh and delicious. Their king cake cronut is so, so, so good and they fill it as you order them. Their customer service is wonderful, always so friendly and helpful. I have a love/hate relationship with you since you're so close to my house.
THE VERY BESSSSSSST BREAKFAST PLACE EVERRRR! THE STAFF MAKES IT VERY worth your dollar and appetite! They are very sweet and friendly and they have great memory bc they always remember me and my order! Thats awesome flippin customer service!!
The donuts are the best in town. Like these better than other shops. Not greasy and have a good flavor.

Been going there for a while I'd say they're neck and neck with meches and the staff are a while lot friendlier. The owners there are locals and extremely friendly and they don't break the bank. Their egg and sausage croissant is so gooooood 🤤🤤
The best Donuts hands down! The owners are the nicest people you will ever meet. Its my daughters favorite place to get breakfast!
I was always a Meches and cajun market donut person. But no more Jaks is better and the service is fantastic. Apple fritters are fantastic
