If you want to feel like you've been transported to Paris, Reve serves the best bistro food in the Bay Area - hands down. Every one of the many meals I've eaten there has been memorable, but the latest one was to die for - their recent winter menu additions are fantastic.

Excellent main dishes. Steak and sweet cheeks to die for. But as amazing as the actual French fries are, they seem out of place as their common side dish. They don't sop up (the delicious) cream well. Then you must buy extra bread for that.
