Hi I just write and tell you how amazing and unreal the staff at the Montage and The Loft are. I have never visited The Loft until today. I was amazed at how beautiful it was. This is by far the best and most beautiful restaurant in OC! The outdoor dining area overlooking the pool and ocean is spectacular… I felt like I was in a little romantic movie 🤍🤍🤍
I was blown away by how kindly the staff treated me even though I was just by myself and not staying as a guest. I can’t wait to be back for dinner soon…

The Loft is a nice restaurant at Montage in Laguna Beach, California. The ocean view is beautiful. The restaurant ambient is comfortable. The restaurant menu is a bit too simple, nothing exciting. I was going to give them 4 stars. I decided to give them an extra star for their way of handling an incidence. I had a patio table with good view to the ocean. There was a seagull nearby. He wondered around for about an hour and half. Without warning, he jumped onto my table and grabbed the ribeye steak from the plate then jumped back on the nearby roof. Everyone in the patio enjoyed this entertaining moment. The seagull proudly stood there with the steak hanging from his beak. Patrick, the waiter offered to replace the steak. Julien, the manager also stop by and apologized. They even did not charge me for the steak. That was a nice surprise. I greatly appreciated their kind gesture.
Almost a perfect ambiance. I usually enjoy the live piano and singing but on this day it was way too loud. We were furthest seats from him and could barely hear ourselves even when shouting. I would suggest a manager monitor the volume so the music doesn't creep from being a vibe to being distracting. I like our server Olga who's attended us on a couple of occasions.
Excellent location to celebrate your any special day. The view is spectacular so are food and service.
The portions are a little bit small but this is expected.
Always a great place to enjoy a lunch while having majestic view of Pacific ocean. Wonderful food and service. Perfect in every way.
Sean the server Superman! He was awesome. Started with oysters with some Thai Chile sauce 🔥. Worth every burn on my chapped lips. Mmmm! Baby wedge salad with beats(crazy good) who even likes beets? Me now. They served some warm sour dough bread with salted butter . Boom! Be sure to ask them to accidentally bring shrimp cocktail. Woohoo freebie! We finished with veal bolognese. Tasty. We split it so we aren’t stuffed. We had Fruili Pinot Grigio from NE Italy. Nice and light. Not a perfect pair but it worked well. Oh, they got us in on a Friday night with no reservation. It’s good to have a hot wife.
Great views and amazing food! The best restaurant we have tried in Laguna, will defiantly be back! Great ribeye, prefect Mac and cheese, and chocolate lava cake to finish!
Dining with ocean view and with delicious brunch options. The service is attentive. The manager Joshua is friendly and truly takes care of the guest to provide a wonderful experience. The chef uses fresh ingredients which enhances the quality of the food. The brioche desert dessert with lemon ice cream and hazelnut is to die for. Would recommend this place for an upscale dining experience.

Delectable food and fantastic service! The loft is part of the Montage hotel that’s tucked under the floor right below the lobby. This was my first time dining at the Loft and I am impressed with their food.
The service is impeccable and the server that served us was very pleasant and attentive. We were very well taken cared by him.
With the waiter’s recommendations, we got ourselves a few of the restaurant’s popular dishes which included poke bowl and hummus with bread as appetizers and five main course consisted of a steak with sweet potato fries, two salmons, a pasta with chicken and a fried chicken burger.
I had a salmon dish and this was the best salmon I have ever had as the meat was so tender and the skin was crispy. The purée that accompanied the salmon was so tasty. I wiped the plate clean. My wife also raved about the steak she had. She loved the flavor and how they grilled meat. The fried burger supposed to be their customer’s favorite and my friend who ordered it became a fan of this burger.
The dessert was also amazing. We ordered the house especially ice cream to share. We were so impressed with the presentation of the dessert and didn’t want to eat it to avoid ruining the arrangement on the ice cream.
Overall the food were very good but they do come at a very steep price tag. Be prepared to dole out some money for the meal.
The restaurant provides validation for valet parking.
High end experience, always a highlight of the SoCal visit. Limited choice of food items, but the quality is amazing. Top notch service as well.
We went to the Loft restaurant, which is on the 4th floor of the Montage for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We got there 30 minutes early for our reservation and were seated right away at a table in the balcony with an amazing view. The service was top notch, they made sure we were comfortable and knew why we were there. The food, drinks and well made and delicious. It was the perfect place to celebrate our special day!
Astounding dinner! Everything from Ribeye and Sea Bass to the immaculate French Fries to the Chocolate Cake and Champagne!
The Loft at Montage Laguna Beach if everything you would expect from a fine dining restaurant at a 5 star resort! The staff is fabulous and always extremely accommodating! The food is delicious as well; the homemade bread, butter with black lava sea salt, the vegan bolognese....I could go on and on! To top it all off, the location can't be beat! 180 degrees of Pacific Ocean views is the cherry on top! If you are staying at the resort or in the Laguna Beach are, I highly encourage you to stop by The Loft!
We have eaten here several times. The service is consistently good and the food is delicious. Great views of the Pacific and Laguna Beach. Definitely a great lunch option when visiting Laguna.

Best food so far and Shawn the waiter is AMAZING! I m not used to let reviews but this guy deserve it 100 times.
