Tacos Stand Tall. La Sirena Grill has four locations. I have been only to the Downtown Laguna Beach restaurant several times. It's a "line-out-the-door" taco stand with outstanding food and limited seating on the patio. The tacos are spectacular (fish, carnitas and carne asada). I also recommend the Sirena Plate, which comes with your choice of fish or meat, grilled chili, bell peppers, onions and three small corn tortillas. Delicious! It's not the Super Rica (Santa Barbara), but it's right up there.
Best Guacamole ever. Visited La Sirena Grill while in CA for my honeymoon. The guacamole here was so fresh and had huge chunks of avocado. Food was amazing!
Best quality Mexican food north of the border. I can't get enough of their fish tacos.
This is our favorite place to eat in Laguna Beach. The food is excellent and the portions are healthy. I had the California Burrito and it was SO good. We also love their salsas. There is no indoor seating but the outdoor seating areas are really cute and the staff takes great care of you. Our kids get the quesadillas and they love them. We will continue to eat here every time we are in town.
Fantastically fresh/delicious food for a great price. Had the asada fries and the shrimp burrito. The order of fries was massive! Great for my partner and I to share and then split the burrito as well. Burrito was large and shrimp was so fresh. All high quality/fresh ingredients. Hot sauce/salsa was obviously made in house and so good. Highly recommend. Their smaller location only has a few outdoor seats. No indoor dining and no bathroom either. They have a larger full service location somewhere nearby.
Excellent attitude and excellent food. I don’t know which is better! It is a hole in the wall with limited outside seating maybe 4 or 5 tables max. Take it to go if busy and eat at the beach. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and vicinity to the beach. I had the salmon salad and a calamari taco. Both were delicious!
Fresh, healthy and quality Mexican food that lacks a little in taste. Service is decent. Prices are good for the area and the quality. Sitting is limited. There's free parking half a block away in the church parking lot (ask the employees first). Also, when asked whether you'd like the green or red salsa on the side, ask for the red one. It's only slightly spicier, but tastes much better. Ask for salt packets on the side as well.
Fantastic food, very good food. The tacos are delicious, great toppings. Sauces very tasty. Service is great, friendly. Out door sitting only along with take out. Not a lot of seating though.

The food was fresh and tasted amazing. I had the shrimp tacos (not on menu), black beans and rice. The salsa.....GREAT!!! Only outdoor seating for probably about 8 guests. That was the only down fall. Can't wait to go back.
I was visiting Laguna and found this place via Yelp. The setting is charming and picturesque. They had a lot of vegetarian choices, refreshing for a smaller place! The food was some of the best I've had since moving to California. I had a veggie quesadilla and it was fantastic. I also enjoyed the business message, which was very environmentally conscious. Will definitely return to this place when I visit again!
Delicious quick Mexican food take-out. Carne asada quesadilla is a winner 😋. Made to order in just a couple minutes. In the heart of Laguna Beach. Totally recommend.

Everything on the menu is good. The tortilla soup is a great go to and the nachos are a go to. Their specials are always a great too!
The only reason they're not getting 5 stars is the salsas could be better.

Very tasty and clean ingredients. A bit too healthy for my taste. I prefer a bit more grease in my burrito but an awesome spot for a healthier take on mexican food. Staff was very helpful and engaging. Amazing location if you live near by!

Been in Laguna beach for a 4 day trip. This is by far and away the best place I ate at. Very friendly staff, excellent quality ingredients, and a chill vibe. Chicken burrito was amazing
The salmon burrito was amazing! It was easy enough to find street parking on a Monday night, although seating is all outdoors and very limited. The wait was quite long - probably best to order ahead and pick up to go. Would definitely come back though, the food was delicious!
