LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. It's on the premises of the prestigious Montage Resort and overlooks the Pacific ocean and Laguna Beach. Friendly and charming staff and overall nice and relaxed beachy vibe. I had the burger ($26) and my mom had the chicken strips with sweet potato fries. The burger was pretty good. Not the best I've ever had but i love burgers so that doesn't say much. Nice blue cheese on top and the beef was juicy. The fries were a bit dry. My $9 soy latte was nice as well. You're paying for the location mostly. It's worth it.
Great Place For A Casual Meal!!. Our group of 6 enjoyed a great lunch here this past 4th of July at the Mosaic. We dined outside with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and took in the beauty of the Monage Resort. Tortilla Soup, crab cakes, burgers, salads were all wonderful as were the desserts. Our service was very friendly, also. This is a great option for dining at The Montage if you don't want to pay the higher prices of The Loft and The Studio where we have also had fantastic meals.
Absolutely gorgeous setting- the views of the ocean and coast and grounds can’t be beat! It was a sunny Sunday lunch, but there were plenty of umbrellas to provide shade. Very good beyond burger and fries, but nothing super special. Service was less attentive (needed drink refills for a long time, for example) than you expect in a place like this. Hostess was very friendly and accommodating. They validated our valet parking, which was nice. Walking around after lunch was spectacular!
Beautiful Brunch-Lunch Spot right in the heart of the spectacular “Montage Laguna Beach” Prices are not cheap, you will definitely end up paying a good church of cash, but the view is just priceless.
The Alcoholic Beverages and Cocktails are prepared just right, and the food is delicious. I personally highly recommend this place if you are spending the weekend at Laguna Beach or even if your just driving by for a break and a small delicious bite.

Great location with excellent views and ambiance. Food and drinks are delicious. Tyler and Nick are some of the amazing mixologists in OC, stop by and ask for them, you will be lucky to enjoy their excellent customer service and sense of humor, along the view, the drinks and welcoming atmosphere!
This restaurant is part of a hotel-resort right next to Treasure Island Beach and really the only option for nearby eats that is convenient if you are visiting that beach.
However, it is worth it. The food and drinks are soooo good. They are NOT cheap with alcohol in the pina colado and it was wonderful. Chips and guac were great. Chips were crisp and perfected with salt and the guac was obviously home-made.
I had the lobster quesadilla and they were NOT CHEAP with the lobster. You get what you pay for with this meal. Fries were also golden and crispy with the right amount of salt.
I would say overall it is pricey but worth it.
OH ! And depending where you sit you can have a view of the resort and beach and water. WONDERFUL
Alec G. was the best server ever!!! I mean he really looked after me and took care of me the entire time I was there. This place is somewhere you want to bring someone that you want to impress. The Lobster Nachos are something to remember, just delicious!!! The drinks were great!!! The views and ambiance are absolutely top tier!!! What an experience! The best part is that after your done, you can literally “walk it off” on the beach. The establishment is literally sitting a one minute walk from the sand.
Enjoyed our first time here, followed Paul Deutsch from another restaurant (there loss Montages gain) rought some great friends, we had some amazing appetizers under the stars, ahi poke and a yummy NY strip. Well worth the drive, this place will be on our regular circuit
Loved the atmosphere. Overlooking the beach was beautiful. Our server was attentive. We ordered the nachos, fish sandwich and poke bowl and a couple sides.. We are foodies so my only complaint would've been that the price wasn't reflected in the wow factor of the food itself. But it was good and refreshing. I would go back just sit and have a drink at the bar for the view!
Excellent food and views. Great ambiance. The ocean views are great and service is on point. Highly recommend our favorite server, Saul. Excellent with the wine and very attentive. Went there every day of our 8 days. Especially enjoy the shrimp cocktail with extra horse radish on the side and the Pole bowl has excellent Ahi tuna.
Great outdoor patio dining option at Montage. They have enough umbrellas to provide abundant shade and having the Pacific ocean in the background is not too shabby either.
The staff are attentive and friendly, they seem to be working as a team to help each other and also to please diners.
They had a nice variety of options for lunch, soup, salad, sandwich, and composed plates. We had salads and a hamburger and they were good. My salad was well (not over) dressed with balanced fixings. I would recommend coming to lunch here if you are looking for a pleasant outdoor dining option.
Mosaic Bar & Grille is our favorite lunch spot in Laguna Beach. My husband and I love the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer, which are huge. I also really like the salads and my husband really enjoys the tuna poke. The service is also outstanding, especially Saul who is extremely attentive who always appears at the perfect time to take orders and pour wine. Highly recommend!
Can't beat this view. Delicious food and cocktails. Very expensive for a pool bar but you are at the Montage. Expect a long wait on the weekend. The lobster salad and ceviche are fantastic.
Very nice place to get snacks and drinks.
The sunset view is amazing and expensive, but it's definitely worth it!
I have eaten lunch, late lunch, and dinner here. Always delicious food and great service. The view is breathtaking, and The Montage is such a beautiful hotel. And, for the prices, you get a fair amount of food. Just come hungry and with extra room in your budget!
Outstanding view, environment, and service. Food was good. Had the chip and guacamole to start, nicely done. For entree it was the avocado pita with beef which tasted good but, packed too much in the bread and it was hard to eat. Ended up eating with fork and not truly enjoying it as a pita sandy. For drinks I had the Fernet Branca with coke, always a good combo
Enjoyed dinner and brunch here.
Service is impeccable, though I'm sure us gaggle of gals were a bit much.
I suggest the the surf and turf. The filet mignon was amazingly tender. Literally like butter.
For breakfast, I enjoyed the Breakfast Burrito and friend enjoyed the French Toast.
Can't wait to return. Amazing views and amazing service.
