Wanted to see what all the hype is about. Stopped by and the tacos are delicious. It's definitely a must if in the area. The owner informed us they will be closing at the end of the season, so if you get a chance to get over there for some yummy tacos.. run! It's a VERY small place and seating is l
Honestly so good. Yes, expensive, but so is everything else around here. I got a taco salad, partner got quesadillas. They were both awesome. Service was excellent.
Great local taco joint! Service was friendly and pretty fast. Parking is tough on a busy day - street parking is your best bet. The tortillas were particularly great and loved the added guac and salsa they add on when you pick up your order. Not too much seating either. I suggest going for an early
Sad to see it’s closing in September 2023. The best classic California tacos and nachos and the original vegetarian for option in Orange County for the last 35+ years.
This place is a not-so-hidden gem.
While fish dishes are their bread and butter, they've also got tofu and other options for the non-fish eaters (keyword: vegeterian, vegan). Their refried beans are proudly made without lard -- but with the other l-word: Love. (You won't miss the lard.) For fish
OC's most notable purveyor of top shelf tacos and other amazing victuals. They're departing end of summer, GET THERE WHILE YOU STILL CAN!
I've been coming here for over 20 years, this is one of my top 3 restaurants I have to hit when I'm home. I've come here with friends, family, and by myself. The tofu mushroom burger is my favorite with a beer and a vegan brownie. I am finding a way to fly home before Gonzo closes. Heart break
The food was great, it had a nice fresh and home-made quality and was prepared quickly. I was surprised to see mexican pizza on the menu, and the blackened tofu pizza was quite filling despite being so small! The bean and cheese quesadilla was excellent. The guacamole and salsa were all very fresh.
We got the salmon Taco and the vegan phish burrito. They were delicious and came out surprisingly fast. The banana chocolate smoothies were refreshing! Highly recommend Taco Loco for the atmosphere and the food.
My family and I stopped here on the way to Anaheim. I had the fish and the calamari tacos, which were amazing! The chef crafted a purple Quesadilla for my 4 year old niece, since he heard it was her favorite color. Helped to avoid a meltdown lol. Obviously this place is frequented by the locals!
The fish taco was excellent (love the blue corn, but make sure you ask for it) and the carnitas nachos were very good. Great salsa, too — probably my highlight.
I normally don’t eat tacos often but I kept hearing a lot about this place and had to check it out before 2021 ended. The lobster taco here is probably the best I ever had. Flavorful and just outstanding. The salmon taco was good, could have been a little crispier. Wait was around 20-30 mins dependi
I've been coming here for a bit on my walks in Laguna. First time getting the salmon salad and it was great. Fun place to sit in their patio, eat, drink and people watch on the weekends.
This place is Amazing! Love the mushroom tacos! They do a great job of making healthy inexpensively priced food in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. The owner is a hardworking humble guy who is quick with a smile and a word of encouragement. I can't wait to go back! Viva Taco Loco!
Discovered this gem looking online for vegan options in the area. Did not disappoint! I ordered the blackened tofu tacos and I highly recommend. The food here is prepared with such love and care. Can't wait to go back!
