Moulin - Laguna Beach - Photo album

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of Moulin in Newport Beach. Located on the main shopping street, this spot provides for very fine french pastries and good coffee.
We ordered a delicious croque Monsieur sandwich with side salad with their delicious honey vinaigrette, we sat outside under their many umbrella tables, lots of space, will definitely come again.
One of my favorite French cafe I’ve ever had. The staffs there are all French and they communicate in French. I ordered an Opera cake with a mini croissant and a cappuccino. I really enjoyed my breakfast. The cake becomes one of best cakes in my life, so delicious! The mini croissant is yummy as wel
Great cafe. Freshly squeezed orange juice, sandwiches and croissants were delicious.
They used to be open during limited hours, but now they have a better schedule. Go for the smaller bite-size pastries. They hit you with lots of high-quality wonders.
Cute little pastry shop that has a huge selection tucked away into fabulous showcases! As tourists, we were pleasantly surprised to find a French pastry shop, but are so glad we stopped for coffee and pastry. Yum!
As a French person, I can definitely say the quality is on top, and some items are better than in many bakeries in France. Among my favorites: almond croissant and flan parisien. The prices are about 2-3 times higher than in France, but it is understandable as taxes are high here and they certainly
To preface this review, we arrived at MOULIN at about 2:45 (15 minutes before close) so the kitchen was closed (i.e. only pre-made sandwiches available) and the staff were eager to get outta there. Given this, MOULIN was a good experience - especially as the staff were hurried but still patient, am
Lovely and warm interior with a lot of details, yet gives you an impression of pure simplicity. First of all, espresso is excellent, so is the Sportif bread...they come along perfectly by my taste. Pear and almond tart is really tasty, as well as all the pastry there is. I haven't tried other cakes.
Overall had a great experience. The food is super yummy and the menu has something for everybody. However I gave it 4 stars because the staff was not friendly and Moulin is not very accommodating with allergies. Their is also no parking and if you do find parking you will have to pay.
Loved the vibes in this one. They closed down the street and have tents and patios for outdoor dining. I ordered the lemon crepe, not the best I’ve had it was kind of like eating a quesadilla. My friend ordered the strawberry one and it was kind of mushy as well. But I still think it’s a cute area t
This is one of my favorite places to have breakfast in Laguna Beach. Everything they serve is amazing. Today we went with French Toast and Quiche Lorraine and they were both delicious. The Mocha and the Cappuccino were equally tasty. In addition to breakfast they have lunch and a wide assortment o
Highly recommended. While little bit pricey, it counts for a great experience, great employees. A decent, not large selection of french/European style sweets and food. The food is "premiere classe". Vintage-ish decor, nice cozy. Definitively a must place to go when visiting Laguna Beach.
Fantastic little French bakery and Cafe great sandwiches make sure to try their breakfasts. It's a minute walk to the beach
