Really? There really doesn't need to be a written review of Ted's. If you live in the area and haven't gone then it would be very surprising. Very large portions and some of the best comfort food in the Aliso/Laguna Niguel area, if not South OC. Out late at night, Ted's for breakfast. Cold rainy day and wanting food that sticks to your ribs, Ted's. In the mood for diet or rabbit food.....go somewhere else.
Best kept secret. .... friendly staff, excellent prices. The taco salad blew my mind with all the very fresh ingredients. Too many to list. The place was clean and I was joyfully served!!!

The number of menu choices are mindboggling. I finally decided on the carnitas wet burrito plate and it was totally awesome. Their choices of flavorful salsas further compliment the outstanding Mexican dishes. A welcome break from suburban chain restaurant monotony.

Ted's - The best independent fast food restaurant in Laguna Niguel. Ted's is the best, if not the only, independent fast food restaurant in chain-heavy Laguna Niguel. It is very good--I have been going there occasionally for years and the food is tasty, but GIGANTIC. Four people can share one meal, and it is dangerous to even attempt to eat one meal yourself. I worked with a guy who ate there for lunch every day for about 15 years (he was very thin, too) and after he retired he stopped eating there and had a heart attack within a couple months. Does that mean Ted's is good or bad, or even related to this event? I don't know, but Ted's is definitely a delicious fast food den of sin. When it gets busy inside and the employees start getting loud, you will swear it is the "cheeseburger, cheeseburger, cheeseburger" place from those old Saturday Night Live reruns. It cracks me up. If you are REALLY hungry and craving a good burger that is HUGE and not like any other burgers in the area, then Ted's is the place for you.
The only thing better than the food is the owner. I looove Teds!!! The poster below is crazy. What other restaurant in south OC can someone eat well (and choose from hundreds if items) for $10.
Taste abounds at this Laguna landmark. Great dining experiences over the years. Not sure about the previous poster's claim inasmuch as the restaurant has a grade of an "A" from the health department.

It is owned by a Greek family, and the owner is here almost every time I visit. The menu features breakfast items, sandwiches, Mexican Favorites, Greek meals, salads, and full on dinners, like seafood plates and meatloaf. Service was fast and staff was very friendly. Everyone enjoyed their food at our table. They were very generous with the hollandaise on my eggs benedict which I loved!! Everything was perfectly cooked, especially my eggs which were nice and runny. 10/10 experience!!!
I have eaten here twice. The food has always been cooked properly, almost like the chef well taken care of and loves his job. Phenomenal from the texture of the fries to the crisp of breaded meals.

They currently have a chilequile with steak special that I think is perfect. Breakfast burritos are large and delicious. They have a drive through, but don't expect it to be fast.
They have the best orange juice, I just wish they have Cholula sauce.

Always a great experience going to Teds. Teds is a drive thru diner serving a classic large diner menu. The prices are high, but you’ll never think twice about how fresh and premium the ingredients are. The wait can take awhile in the drive thru line but I would rather wait on quality made-to-order food than receive old already made food.
When I find a winning meal I usually stick to it. That being said, I have only tried a few items on their menu. Their fish and chips are to die for. Long Alaskan cod, battered crab leg sized strips, great tasting tartar sauce and fries on the side. Great meal for two. Their freshly grilled hot dog and hamburger always hit the spot. They have large tasty turkey club sandwich and a turkey breast avocado sub that overwhelmingly surpass any commercial sandwich shop in the local area. They have ice cream too! Not fast food machine spun ice cream, true out of a container ice cream. Their shakes are dynamite!
I have never had a bad experience at Teds. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food is excellent.
The noise level was at an all time low. There were three customers working and on their respective phones. There were other customers talking quietly and enjoying their meals.
Once the country music started playing the noise level elevated and everyone started talking louder. Honestly it was quite disappointing.
Had they not started playing the country music the atmosphere would have been away better.
I totally recommend this place for families and people who want to be fed well. Good food good prices and large plates.

Choose the basic breakfast waffles, they have pretty good size of waffle. Overall, it’s okay.
