Here visiting from out of town. Weather was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying a cold brew. Luna tuna was delicious and the waitstaff was awesome. Will be coming back again.
Decent meal, average service and below average decor/comfort. Food was pretty good. We sat outside which was more of a concert courtyard with uncomfortable metal chairs. Inside was very bar centered and felt more like your in a pub than a restaurant with a bar. For all the hype they get I was unimpressed.
I went there for appetizers- wow the crawfish and avocado with rice deep fried creation was very tasty and unique - best surprise was the beer selection they now serve Yuengling!

I ate here with my wife for lunch one day. Lovely atmosphere Tuna was excellent my wife did not care for her steak. Good place for drinks and quick meal bar food.
Cute and small inside but they also have a big patio with a live jazz band playing during brunch. Food (eggs cochon) and drinks (mimosas) are good.

Ate here for lunch. Incredibly fast service and when we mentioned we weren't in a hurry, our waitress was great and still attentive with drinks. Food was great and my salad dressing was made from scratch. Would recommend and will return!

Food great, service needs work. Server never smiled. When we sat down, she offered us drinks, brought them then disappeared for five minutes. Came back and we ordered. I had run out of water a couple of times, not a big deal to me because i know i go through water fast however, a little hint to the server: if i dont have my entree, asking me if i want more water is silly. yes. yes i want more water. when my entree showed, i was out of water, we were most of the way through the meal when she reappeared, not to ask if everything was fine with the meal, but only if we wanted our check. also still not refilling my drink. they were busy, but some changes to her approach would make a lot of difference. Been in the restaurant business for twenty years and these are tough pills to swallow considering how people dump on the smallest issues on yelp, but it needed to be said. its hard enough for local places to stay afloat, they dont need their own staff fighting against them as well.
Had the Bleu Filet and Sweet Potato wedges. Steak was cooked a bit more than ordered(-). Server immediately offered to replace (++). I was afraid to send back because the filet was for tender!!(+++). Server brought out ticket showing it was put in as rare (+). Server insisted to comp the steak. This place has sevice to an art form.
Omg!. I wasnt expecting this! In town on a business trip and saw the billboard for luna grill. Great atmosphere, great staff. The food... Just... Omg. I had the luna tuna with cream spinach. If you pass this place up, you're dead wrong. I'll definitley be back.
Luna's is LOVELY. There really isn't anything negative that I have to say about Luna's maybe except that it's always packed!! Everything is delicious there and its such a great atmosphere. Cosmic sauce on everything!!!
A few friends and I from out of state stopped in on a Friday night for dinner. They had a live band playing outside on their stage, who were pretty good, and the volume wasn't over powering. I tried the Uranus sandwich which came highly recommended by our waitress and it was delicious. I would go back if I was in the area again and I definitely would recommend this place to anyone whether they are locals or just passing through.
Excellent place. Not so great on the beer selection, but the sandwiches are quite fine. I am a fan of the "fires of pluto": Buffalo sauce spun chicken breast (grilled or fried) topped with cheddar cheese for a kick, and I prefer it on the whole wheat bun. The whole wheat bun is grilled but still soft, giving the sandwich great mouth feel, and the sweetness of the roll offsets the spice of the jalapeno mayonnaise and the buffalo sauce. Oh, and they give you giant pieces of chicken. Truly a perfect sandwich.

Yumm!. As usual we had great service when me and my family ate here, our waitress was kind and joked around with us a bit! The food came out quickly and tasted excellent! Would definitely recommend visiting this place!

Yummy food, great fried mushrooms, BUT...slow food for 5. Door person was rude to people who came in after us. otherwise fine and probably SUPER on any other day.

Love this place! Most recently brought my 6yr old nephew with me. The colorful atmosphere and all the artwork on the walls have him a lot to look at Nd talk about. He was kept well occupied while we waited for our food, which did take a little longer than usual. So it's quite kid friendly which is nice. It's also dog friendly, saw a few people leave with dogs from the patio. I love the food here, it's different and always fresh. Top notch place in my book!
Favorite. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Lake Charles. I haven't tried anything that wasn't fantastic. My favorites are the Neptune, Neptune Melt, and Luna Tuna. Not only is the food outstanding but it's a really laid back environment. Staff is friendly as well.

Great food & atmosphere. As far as the sandwiches go, I don't think it's possible to be disappointed! Any choice is a good one. I also love the grilled chicken frisco; so delicious! Their ranch salad dressing is unique and AMAZING. Love that they have healthy options as well.

Out of this world!. Luna is hands down one of the best restaurants in town! The vibe is awesome, the staff was helpful and friendly, and most of all the food is AMAZING! The tuna is always fresh, highly recommend the Luna Tuna. I LOVE LUNA!!
Fantastic Meal. Ate there on a Friday night and had a great dining experience. The weather was nice so we elected to eat on the patio. Both meals we ordered were cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. We both had nightly specials. I had the grilled redfish topped with fried shrimp and a basil cream sauce. My wife had the grilled sea bass with a wine-butter reduction sauce. Our waiter Nate was a great server and took great care of us. The overall food and service experience was great.

I always like the food but the kitchen can be infuriatingly slow. This is particularly true with to go orders. Last three times it's taken almost a half hour to get sandwiches to go.
Visiting from Dallas and really pumped I have found this place, a must visit! Redfish Ian. Eat it.
My wife and I had read reviews about this place and decided to give it a shot. The atmosphere was interesting, i like it bcuz im more comfortable in a small sports bar setting. The food was nothing short of mind blowing. The freshness and uniqueness of the menu equally amazed me. Hands down the best tuna sandwich i have ever had. My wife and i also enjoyed the galactic crab dip. We are looking forward to going back and trying something new bcuz it all looks so good. The waitress was very helpful also.

I love Luna... The atmosphere is awesome and the food is very good. Prices are reasonable. However, tonight our waitress was horrible. She talked our head off and didn't listen to what we wanted. She only came to our table a few times and was bascially running by as she asked us if everything was ok. We were there for so long because we were constantly waiting on her. The food was great though as always.
Great Food Great Decor. Great food , great service, the shrimp bienville is not to be missed. Being from the New Orleans area the funky decor made me feel right at home. The best meal I had while in Lake Charles.

Great Food And Service!!. Luna's Bar & Grill is a wonderful place. I love the Rock N Roll atmosphere, the service is great, and the food is to die for. It's my favorite place to go when I come into town.

I love Luna's. I don't eat a lot of meat so I always get the Earth burger and although it has changed in the last few years it's still awesome and the shrimp scampi with crab meat is awesome. The wait staff is always quirky and nice just like the restaurant. Thank god my sister took us there.
Great atmosphere. Great service here, just enough "buzz" while dining not too crowded, good variety in foods, food was delicious. I had tuna and it was very good. Beer selection is limited, but they had some things new to me. I would go back my next time in town.

Fun place with great food!. My husband and I only had one day in Lake Charles and we chose to try Luna Bar & Grill. Great decision! We were pleased with the atmosphere and the prices weren't too bad.
My husband had the Luna Tuna and it was perfect, the seasoning was great, and it was seared to a perfect medium rare. The fish was super fresh, and the sauce had a great flavor. I had another tuna dish on the menu in a citrus sauce. It was great too!
We will be back to try more when we get a chance.

Sooper dooper. I live about two hours away but everytime i'm in lake charles this is the first place i go. the fires of pluto is so good. spicy without being over bearing. service has been good everytime i've been there.

Great burgers!. The burgers here are out of this world (look at the menu and you'll get it) 8/10. As stated inside it is not a fast food joint so don't expect your food in 30 seconds, but it is still pretty slow moving in there. The service is good 7/10. The place itself is pretty neat you can sit outside in the shade or in the sun and of course if you are boring you can sit inside. The location is also a plus although if you are not walking parking might be tricky 8/10. Overall 7.5/10

Love Luna!. I've only been to Luna a handful of times, but have absolutely loved everything I've tried there! Everything I have tried has been delicious, and I've heard nothing but satisfied reviews from other people as well. I can't go without getther the spinach & artichoke dip, it's amazing. I have been disappointed with the service a couple of times, got the wrong order one occassion, no waiter to be found for a refill when sitting outside, and have waited what seemed like a very long time for our food when they didn't seem to be busy at all, but the food was worth the wait, and it's a great place to sit back and visit over drinks so no big deal. Luna will continue to get my business for it's laid back atmosphere, delicious food, and inexpensive prices. Great place to eat downtown.

Fantastic atmosphere.. This is by far my most favourite lunch spot in the Lake Charles area. The staff is always friendly, the food is great, and the atmosphere is outstanding whether you decide to dine inside or outside.
Great Downtown Restaurant. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Not your basic burger and po-boy place. Check out the attached menu and you'll see what I mean. I love going there when i'm in Lake Charles visiting.
Excellent food, the portion sizes aren't too big, the restaurant itself has a cool vibe and decor! I just wished that the jazz started when they opened at 10, cause we missed it, we had eaten and were gone before it even started. And it would've been nice if our server had taken our order a bit quicker because we were waiting for quite a while.
The restaurant is located next to other businesses in downtown. There is a nearby parking lot (which was full at dinner time) and street parking. The hostesses greeted us and got us seated very quickly at a booth. It was a little on the noisy side, but possible to have a conversation. There were a few large groups, including one celebrating a birthday. Seemed like a good space for large groups. Our server took our drink order fairly quickly, but walked off without asking us if we'd like any appetizers to start. When he came back, he took our food order which included an appetizer and our mains. Our mains came out before the appetizer. The tuna and mashed potatoes were both pretty good. Overall, it was a good experience. Second visit, got the Redfish Ian (grilled). It was absolutely delicious! Everything on the plate was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend it.
This restaurant is friendly & clean. It's atmosphere is low lighting, spacious, comfortable. Their bathrooms are very clean! Menu has a good verity of appetizers & sandwiches. I got the CRAB DIP & PITA CHIPS DELICIOUS 😋 KID FRIENDLY ALSO . GIVE IT A TRY!
We stopped through LC and happily stumbled upon this place for their Sunday jazz brunch and OMG. I’m sure that I had the best most fresh crab cake of my life. I ordered Eggs Ponchtrain and it was AMAZING. It was extremely flavorful and prepared perfectly. My spouse ordered the French toast and even that was extraordinary. They also offer a great deal for mimosas. Highly recommend dining here.

Last night we went to the new LUNA and it was really good! The customer service is great 😊 we were sad that the stuffed avocado (our favorite dish from the menu) wasn’t there but that’s okay he hope it gets reintroduced soon! The drinks were really good and the prices are excellent 😊 Thank u guys
Had the Filet Aurora and added the Brie cheese w/ steamed veggies. Had it cook Med rare and it was cooked perfectly. Janae was my server she did a fantastic job. This place has such cool vibes and I'm in love with the art and posters they have. I had a cocktail named Pearl Jam. Very fitting for the theme they have going on and also that's one of my favorite bands. 😁 I would definitely recommend stopping by on your way down the interstate. Its definitely not out of the way for a great meal and super great service. Definitely rate a 10/10 😉
