Amazing homemade food!. Wow! Just had a terrific lunch at this authentic old time diner. My turkey sandwich was made with REAL - not deli - turkey and the homemade chicken noodle soup was just like my mom's, with real chicken! Friends had a perfectly cooked burger, Reuben with homemade fries and the Blue cheese salad. We also had a fantastic homemade pumpkin pie - again all baked goods are homemade there. Everything tasted fresh and yummy and the place was spotlessly clean. Wait staff was friendly and attentive, our food came out quickly and looked as good as it was. It's not easy to get food that's made from scratch in a restaurant. I'm fussy about food quality and I was completely sold on this place. We are in Lake Geneva often and I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Joni's Diner. My friends from Illinois said they'll drive up here just to eat here! It's THAT good!!

Prices were a little high. My husband and I both got burgers - not bad. Fries were good. The malt was good but also a little pricey ($6.25). Overall experience was good. May go back to try breakfast sometime.

My little family went on a mini vacation and wanted to eat at a mom and pop shop for breakfast. This was such an adorable diner. My husband loved the stuffed French toast, my son actually ate 3/4 of the pancakes and all his sausage which happily surprised us. And I enjoyed the fluffy pancakes with banana. If you are passing through definitely a must stop and experience, we hope to visit again one day when we vacation this way. Thanks for a great breakfast!

My husband and I are from Illinois and we were looking for a nice place to have our Anniversary lunch so we decided to try out this Diner and sit at the counter. I couldn't help but notice how crowded & small the building was. Every few seconds you heard someone say "excuse me" or "I'm sorry", but everyone was definitely polite and helpful so that was good. Took a while to place our order but like I said they were busy. After placing our order we got our food rather quickly, the fries were great & the food was tasty. I was surprised that 1 slice of French toast was $3.10 though. Overall we were glad we tried it out but I don't think we'll be returning.

We stopped for breakfast after attending a wedding the night before. The cafe was busy, but we were seating quickly. The service was very good. All our food was delicious. The cafe was built in 1954 and is very clean and in great shape. Must see
