Came today 02/15/2022, we celebrated our anniversary, we were welcome right away, directed to our table. We ordered a Spanish cava, unfortunately it was not available, so we ordered a French sparkling wine for our dinner. We had 2 appetizers (the tuna tartar and the oysters Rockefeller), following with two seafood dishes (branzino meuniere and the diver scallops with garlic mashed potatoes and loaded potatoes.), all the food was well prepared, the only thing was the temperature on the oyster could have been warmer. Our server Julie was great and attentive. Overall great experience. đ

What an amazing dining experience. We had the opportunity to sit inside near the window with a beautiful view on to the Lake. Much better view than the other Italian restaurant at the resort, Ristorante Brissago. Our waitress was knowledgeable about every dish and wine we had questions about.
For an appetizer we had the bacon wrapped dates. They were sweet and salty, and the bacon was smoked amazing.
We split the Chophouse Salad it was very good. We also had the French Onion Soup, it was amazing. The Gruyere cheese was amazing and set the ton for the whole dish. It's a heavy soap so if getting steak be sure to split this dish.
My entree was the wagyu steak. It was a Manhattan cut. It was shaped like a filet and had the texture of a sirloin. The steak was a Australian A8 steak. It was pretty tender, not as tender as I expected wagyu to be but the flavor....oh the flavor. It was my first time eating waygu, it was unlike any steak I have ever had before. I got it done medium rare, and it's the first time I wish I had a steak more rare. The more I got to the center the better the flavor. They seared the outside of the steak to make a crust and I had almost wish they hadn't because the flavor rare was so good.
My wife had the Delmonico Ripeye. It was juicy and flavorful, the best Ripeye I have ever had. So good and tender and fatty. I was eating Waygu wanting another bite of Ripeye (I need to find a waygu Ripeye)
We finished with the triple chocolate cake. It was amazing unlike most triple chocolate cakes that are so rich they have the dark chocolate bitterness. This was was instead smooth and silky. I would have had more if I didn't have a rich wagyu steak right before it.
Overall an amazing experience, but be ready to pay for it.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Enjoyed the detailed descriptions of food choices from our waitress, and her personal choices. The serverâs assistant always kept our water glasses full. We were there for our anniversary and received a complimentary dessert. Would definitely dine here again.

Very delicious food, impeccable service by our waitress, Ashley, very trendy and Chic atmosphere! Will be back. We enjoyed the ribeye and Chilean sea bass. All of the sides from the potatoes mushrooms and cream corn were amazing. The creme brulee was a very delicious dessert.

Delmonico was very tender and flavorful despite being more towards rare than medium rare. I still ate the whole thing. Wedge salad was very good. Carrot/Parsnip side not great. Carrot cake was very dense almost like it was an uncooked cake. Iâd go back for steak and wedge salad, but definitely try a different side and dessert.
Service was decent. Manager was ever present. Iâd go back, but could be convinced to try another option in the area first.

Okay the center cut 10 oz filet was good. The side orders claim to be family size were not. Oysters were fine. Salmon was just okay. Service and atmosphere was wonderful. Price for dinner was high for the amount of food. Stage Stop or Colony House seem a better value.

Iâve enjoyed my previous visits to Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, having gone to the waterpark, skied, received a massage and of course, enjoyed fine dining at its chophouse. Thus, I happily accepted an invitation to return to meet the new executive chef, Nelly Buleje, and sample his creations.
Food For Thought...
Elegant dining room with very polite waitstaff. Service is great and the food is good. A bit pricey but hey... It is a fancy lodge on the lake.

I typically only try places with heavy reviews, as I typically entertain weekly for profesional purposes, but I did come hear because it has a great reputation. I'm glad I went. I don't have anything too interesting to review. New York Strip and wine all across the table. Top notch beef and the price was what one would expect at a steak house. The service was out of this world great, typical fine dining experience. Great wine service complete with table side education about the selections. Also given a great breakdown of the entire menu, discription of flavors and how rhe dish is prepaired. Basically he did his job well. Very prodessional wait staff and left feeling like it was money well spent. If you like an enthusiastic staff, this is a good pick.

Review all Charges. While staying at the resort my husband and I had dinner with three other couples in December. Overall the food experience was excellent and one of my good friends said the crĂšme burlee was the best they have ever experienced. What followed dinner is nothing less than appalling. Our total bill with 20% gratuity was $594. Three of the couples paid $150 cash each and we paid $150 on our cc, totaling $600. Two days later I checked our cc statement only to find that our cc was charge $180 and $720, both from the Chophouse. Where is the $150 charge that we signed for? We have spoken to the mgmt, including resort GM, on several occasions only to be told these charges never posted and that this transaction was done according to their procedures. My cc company confirmed that these charges actually posted and now we've had to close our cc account and file a payment dispute. As of today the staff still denies these accounts and made a backhanded offer that if we are ever in the area to stop by for a fee drink or something. We live over an hour from the resort, why would we just stop in. Where then is my $150 charge that we signed for? I'd have to think that McDonalds would handle a customer issue better than this resort. VERIFY ALL CHARGES!
