Not the fast food chain....FYI. This is not the Louisiana Kitchen....but they do do rotisserie chicken. I only go here for the fish fry on Fridays. Holy cow, best potato pancakes around (best served with applesauce) The servers are always very friendly and attentive. Their broccoli cheddar soup is also wonderful. I know my mom loves their burgers. There's something for everyone on their menu, and they are very accommodating for large groups. Their location is awesome, right across from the Riviera on the lake, but parking can be a struggle, they have a very small parking lot, so you usually have to find street parking, with the meters.
Just finished a tasty dinner lakeside. Great rotisserie chicken, wonderful view and Rex was a super server. Definitely would come back. Prices may be $1-2 higher than non resort areas, but the view made it worth it.

We tried the all you can eat Fish Fry and loved it!! The fish was hot, crispy and not at all greasy. I recommend the seasoned fries over the potato pancakes though. The cole slaw was perfect as well.
Not bad, but not exceptional, either. Pricier than it should be for what it is.
Good food!. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews. What do you expect? A five star meal? Then go to a five star restaurant. This place had the second best fish fry I have ever eaten. (The best is at a place in Minocqua) Very tender, and flavorful. The price was very reasonable. Even on a packed Friday night, we got in within 15 minutes. No complaints here. I would go back again next time I'm in the area. Don't listen to the bad reviews.
No idea why the other reviews are so bad. They had a great serving staff who were all very friendly. The lower priced items are average, but Popeye's really stands out with its rotisserie items and its fresh fish. You have to pay more for it, but they're all great.
O yea. This place is amazing dont listen to the others... i've eaten here 100s of times its amazing the shrimp n lobster bisque is the best! everything is awesome
Best pulled pork sandwiches. They have an on site rotisserie. The thin cut battered onion rings are just the way I love them, no ketchup needed.
Chicken and beer on the water. I got a mushroom chicken sandwich and a beer with it, which was just great. The service right when you walk in is really great and the food doesn't take too long when its somewhat full. But make sure you better be ready for the line in the summer.

Always Busy For A Reason. Ate here last Friday. Arrived 7pm, got window seat with great view of the lake (pure luck). Busy, but excellent service from server (who was in training) and the server who was training her. Food was hot, delish clam chowder, broiled fish, chicken, and their awesome potato pancakes. There are a few bad reviews here, but everyone we saw appeared to enjoy their meal, and the line was out the door when we left at 9pm. The atmosphere is family-style, a bit loud, but fun and cozy. They're packed for a reason!
I felt compelled to write a positive review after reading some of these negative reviews Food was great , I had the best rotisserie chicken in along time , moist , flavorful, and delicious Caesar salad , my wife had a white Fish with steamed veggies and thought it was also delicious Server ( Serena ) was friendly and knowledgeable , would highly recommend for a family meal. 2 thumbs up!!!
Had a wonderful, laid-back family lunch. There's so much to see and the food is very good. They also made our daughter feel very special on her birthday. The Lobster Bisque is amazing!
Great location! Came with a group of friends and we had a good time and enjoyed our food and drinks. The servers here were friendly and provided great customer service. I get the pound pretzel every visit, they are always fresh and are a great appetizer. I also absolutely love their cheddar broccoli soup.
A+ service! Chairs pushed, coats taken off and hunged up upon seating, menu explained in detail. We had perch- fresh from the Lake Geneva and lamb roasted right outside the restaurant. Drinks pricey. Very nice atmosphere.
This place was really good. The server John was really good making sure we had all we need and the cheese curds and pretzel bites are so delicious. The bloody Mary is strong in taste but not the alcohol itself. It was my first bloody Mary so maybe its suppose to taste like straight tomatoes and pickle juice. The view was spectacular as well.
I've been to this place several times from when I was a kid. The food is always great, and I highly recommend it as a place to try in Lake Geneva when visiting. The chicken is really good, if looking for a recommendation of something to try.
Love Popeyes..their Lobster shrimp bisque soup ..tortilla soups is awesome! Can't go wrong with the all you can eat fish on Fridays.. Make the trip..eat bere while watching the water!
