Excellent. It was a hot day, dining while overlooking the water with all the twenty somethings turning pink in overloaded boats while cruising the channel. We were sipping Champagne in air conditioning.
We started with Oysters Rockefeller, classically prepared, that were very good but a little small. Our entrees included prime rib, teriyaki steak and Tournedos Oscar (medallions of beef tenderloin served on toast points with grilled shrimp, lump crab, fresh asparagus and Béarnaise sauce). All were excellent and prepared to the correct doneness. Mmmmmm.
The coconut cream pie was excellent with a sort of meringue frosting.
It is a nicer restaurant but there doesn't seem to be a dress code. Awesome service and terrific food.
Duck!. Had the duck there a few years ago. I dunno why there's all these bad reviews. This place is great, offering great views of the canal. From what I remember the food was pronominal and the service was great.
Havasu Birthday Trip. My Husband an I Spent a week in Lake Havasu this May and I thought Id share my experience. Overall Our Dining experiences were very good, there were a few standouts. It seems the closer you got to the London Bridge the better the food was.
Wednesday Night, we dined at Shugrues. The host was a rather Jolly man who lead us right in, while all the window tables were full we still had a great view of the old bridge. There were floor to cieling windows and we could see the boats go by.
Our server was a delightful young lady who took her time with us. We discovered it was half off wine night and the wine list was very nice. Mike ordered the crab cakes to split and they were really nice. The sauce made that dish. For dinner I ordered the blackened salmon and Mike went for a peppered steak, of course. The salad was a typical side salad but the soup was quite good. Both dishes were amazing. Decent presentation, excellent portion but the taste was a delight. The salmon was perfectly cooked and Mikes steak just melted in your mouth. For desert we Split a chocolate cake and I must say that it was HUGE, it tasted rich and creamy and our server told us they had a bakery right in the restaurant. If i were to comment, I would have loved to see a dessert cart before ordering because the cake was just this side of too big, but to be honest if they sold them to the public we would have driven home with one. A truly delightful meal, Id recommend them to anyone.
Service was average and not on par with the atmosphere they're trying to create. When you go to an upscale place you excpect a certain level of service which wasn't quite up to standard. However, our food was VERY good! And the wine great!
Overpriced. Nice views of the water. Joe average service/food.
Great restaurant. Went on a Saturday night without reservations but we were sat immediately. Ordered the filet mignon and the prime rib. As pictured, the dishes were both outstanding, well seasoned and we'll presented. The service was good, took a little time for the initial greeting, but there were many other servers there that made sure our experience was seen through. I recommend this in Lake Havasu if you are looking for a higher quality meal with a vast wine/cocktail list with decent prices and money well spent.
I was depressed, nervous, and exhausted since I’d been driving from Albuquerque to LA to start a new chapter in life. My friends and I decided to relax for a few nights in Lake Havasu, and we found this amazing gem of a restaurant. The view of London Bridge is sweeping.
We were helped by a very attentive, energetic, kind, and humorous man named Daniel. Thank you so much Daniel for making our night!! Amazingly enough, he served many tables and clearly was very passionate about his work. His service really motivated my group and made us feel more happy/enthusiastic about our move.
Just 5 stars DOES NOT do justice for the phenomenal experience we had. If I ever crave a French dip sandwich, I will be making the 5-hour drive from LA back to this place just so that I can enjoy the impeccable food, ambience, and of course to look for Daniel again!!! Best vibes!!!
What a great place to relax and enjoy a great meal. Service is superb and the atmosphere is low keyed sit back relax let us take care of you. Restaurant is extremely clean, well stocked and pretty much packed with just about anything you want to make your visit the best ever. Priced are moderate+ but the food and service really makes it worth the stop.
Great place! Loved it right on the canal! Our server was Arlo, and he was a great guy and waiter. Go see him. Awesome food, awesome ambiance, awesome service. Definitely recommended!!!
The menu was impressive. The food was delicious. The server (Kevin) was friendly, very helpful, made great suggestions, even of off-menu options.
Social distancing is kind of hard when every table is full. Don't talk much. There is supposed to be an air cleaning system. Food was okay. Crab cakes a little gooey/pasty, cook the pork belly a tad bit more, service is a little slower than expected. Took a minute to get our order taken after being seated. Menu looked pretty diverse for different age groups or taste buds! Most locals pointed us to this spot.
