Always been one if my favorite eateries to go to while in Portland. Only downside was that the hot chocolate was pretty bland.

Had their breakfast panini, pain du chocolat and a cafe mocha. The panini was delicious.

Staff is VERY friendly & helpful and tasty fruit tart … but I can confirm another recent review that the WiFi has no Internet connection. I just used my phone data plan. Spoke with the manager and they’re paying $$$ for an expensive Comcast business connection and Comcast told them, “you just need to change your Wi-Fi password more often.” This is total BS — on the part of Comcast — because there were only a handful of customers in the café and even if the whole neighborhood were using it… It would be a slow Internet connection, not “No Internet Connection.” (Modern commercial access points can handle many 100’s of users -— I used to work on Wi-Fi standards.) and a suggestion – KUDOS for providing a teapot and ceramic mug for dining in (!) … but the metal teapot made my tea become cold very quickly. It’s like a heat sink. I know ceramic teapots easily break & chip which is perhaps why they use metal ones, but maybe use one that’s double walled and insulated? (but then fold would probably steal them l… )

Fantastic pastries! Selection, presentation and taste we're all very satisfying. Service was a bit slow. One gal seemed to do all business with customers while two others stood around in the background shooting the bull with each other. I only regret that I couldn't try more (the panini were very inviting) but I violated my diet pretty badly as it was.

Such a beautiful bakery! So full of life and beauty. The pastries that we ordered were, simply, wonderful. The chocolate was so rich, each bite was amazing. The staff and service was fast and very friendly. The walls are decorated beautiful and the general ambience was, overwhelming, pleasant. It is a little out of the way but the trip here is always worth it! I would definitely recommend this bakery to my family and friends!

There are so many delicious deserts to choose from, it is easy to spend more time than deciding than actually eating your desert. They have a wonderful assortment of breads, croissants, sandwiches, and other tasty treats.

The food and coffee are fantastic. The staff were both friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the place is getting a bit run down. The front display cases are coming apart at the seams, and neither the floors nor the bathroom were clean.

Happy, happy, happy carbs! We decided to branch out from the usual bakery stop and I was super happy. Their pastry and sammich options were vast! We especially loved their apple turnover and bacon maple croissant. Yum!

I imagine this could be the number one patisserie to visit in Lake Oswego. However, our counter server could only do one thing at a time. One order. One entry. Go get the one thing. Come back. Repeat. I ordered a cappuccino, which is an espresso with a little froth of milk on top. Mine looked like a latte. It tasted delightful, though. So I was pleased. My husband is picky about his coffee, and rightfully so. He usually orders a short Americano, which is a shot or two of espresso with only half the amount of water usually added. The server assured us of the barista 's ability and the girl even came over to question him regarding the cup size. He ended up with double the amount of water. He wasn't going to say anything, but we've learned that if you don't speak up about an error, then they can't make things right and they can end up with bad reviews. True that. The barista then had to get "permission" to redo the drink. Why? My review is a little less than 4 stars because of the counter person's lack of confidence (or ability? ) and the lack of the barista s listening skills. Don't assume you know what it means even after it's been explained. Listen to what his asked for, no matter the reference to a particular name. By the way, the pastries here are divine. We had a delicious one. They all looked great! This is worth a trip. I'm sure you'll be pleased. Just be sure to be heard and be patient. This place is great for brunch, lunch and dinner. Their pastries and bread and baked goods are tasteful. We love their sandwiches, soups, and coffee. It's in a nice, clean and scenic community right by the lake. They have outside seating great for those warm days.

I ordered the Corronne (spelled wrong I think) a round crown breads. I ordered in advance and my order was filled completely correct. I love that bread and I was glad to be able to order it for Thanksgiving. Made our dinner special. Highly recommend

Great location in the lake area with nice folks. Fairly busy, but did not wait long. Coffee and pastries were very good, but not the best in the metro area. Very handsome space with indoor and outdoor seating. City has created a nice urban park here. Good place to meetup with street and garage parking.

This wonderful little bakery is a landmark destination EVERY time we travel through the area! I have as much difficulty choosing which of their innumerable delicacies to devour as I do correctly pronouncing most of the pastry names! Fortunately for me the staff is so incredibly knowledgeable that “I’d like one of those delicately flakey things with the chocolate drizzle and one of the fruit-filled cream puffy things” gets me exactly what I wanted despite my lack of French fluency.
