Kyra's Bake Shop is unmatched in gluten-free offerings, but also customer service. Every time I go I make a point of trying out her new flavors, and also ordering "old" favorites like cinnamon rolls & maple-bacon doughnuts (omg!!!). I even love her cakes (and I don't even like cake). It should be noted that I live in Los Angeles. It is not an exaggeration to say that I travel to PDX, at the very least, twice a year just to eat at Kyra's. There is nothing like it in Portland, nothing like it on the west coast, and nothing like it in the whole country. If you are gluten-free and you live in the area you should be there weekly. If you are anywhere else in the country, you owe it to yourself to make a gluten-free pilgrimage to the bake shop. You will be SO HAPPY you did!!
This is the best gluten free bakery and lunch spot that I have ever been to! The bread is AMAZING and the pastries are even better! I've been gluten free for 10+ years and haven't found anything like it. I currently live in Denver, but next time and every time I come to Portland, this will be on my To-do list!

I have always really liked their cupcakes and their bagels and cinnamon rolls are the best GF ones I have had. Even a foodie at work said their bagels are amongst the best he's had. I was blown away today though when I tried their version of Oreos. The flavor was exactly Oreos - aww memories. I have to drive another way to work now so I don't spend all my money
I love that I can walk in to this beautiful bakery and taste any sample on their counter and order anything I see to eat, and know that there will be no gluten! Even better, I feel like I'm eating the things I've missed and not missing the flavor! My whole family loves it and I'm the only gf one. We love the donuts, cinnamon rolls and breakfast sandwiches!!
I drove all the way from Vancouver to get some gluten free biscuits and gravy and it was totally worth it. Biscuits were flaky and moist. Gravy was flavorful and huge chunks of sausage. This pregnant lady was very happy. My non-gf husband kept stealing bites of my biscuits and gravy and ordered a second breakfast sandwich because his first was so good. The gf donut was light and airy. Can’t wait to go back.

Always a great experience. The cupcakes/desserts are scrumptious and service is exceptionally friendly and warm. That is why even though it is quite a drive to get to this bakery, we keep on coming back for more.

The service was super friendly and very helpful! The cinnamon rolls were gooey & delicious! By far the best gluten-free bake shop I've ever experienced (everything is 100% gluten free!) and everything is labelled for allergens. Fantastic!
Good but pricey. Our family is gluten free and we love Crave as we can enjoy the taste of sweets and still stay healthy. I would highly recommend their donuts on Friday, very good.
The staff is very friendly and they do a great job of explaining the products and their customer service is excellent.
Be warned though, for those of you not familiar with the gluten-free lifestyle- alternative flours, etc; they are more expensive than your everyday cupcake shop.

Cinnamon Roll is to die for!. Came here today for my birthday. I got the Cinnamon Roll and it was sooo good! My mother got a Lemon Tart and loved it. My sister got the B&W Cupcake and thought it was the best cupcake she has ever had. It was light and fluffy and tasty.
I would definitely go here again!
Only down side is there is no seating except two small tables outside. So be prepared to eat in your car or take it with you.
I go to cupcake stores with my wife. This one is different. They said the big seller was the cinnamon roll. I tried it and wow.

I am celiac- so Kyra's is a frequent stop for us. We recently used them for our wedding, and from the very beginning they were nothing but kind and helpful. Our tasting with Kyra was such a pleasant process, and she was so quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had before the wedding. I had a family friend pick up the cake day of- because our venue was over an hour away and delivery wasn't worth the price. We had also ordered over 4 dozen breakfast pastries that were to be picked up along with the wedding cake and cupcakes, for breakfast the next day. When my friend arrived, they were mistakenly not given the whole order, but were unaware of what the entire order entailed. Kyra's team drove out and hand delivered our extra pastries free of charge, before we had even noticed the issue. They were so fast and got there before the ceremony even started. They were unable to reach us do to limited cell service but took care of it no problem! Guests RAVED about how great the cake was and not a single piece went to waste. It was the perfect amount for our guest list thanks to Kyra's expertise. We can't thank them enough, not only for providing me with a safe and inclusive space to be able to enjoy tasty treats but also for their kindness and professionalism on our wedding day and throughout the process. We used Kyra's Bake Shop to make a dessert bar at our wedding this past September, and we are SO glad we did! From our initial encounter with Kyra, she was prompt to respond, professional, kind, and accommodating. She helped us curate the perfect menu for our wedding desserts. As we lived out of state, we were unable to do a taste-testing, however this proved to be no issue as each and every dessert was delicious and well-decorated. Of the 6 boxes of desserts we ordered, only 2 lone cupcakes remained at the end! We had guests who are not GF/vegan, however no one could tell that anything was "different". We highly recommend our favorites (strawberry milkshake cupcakes, cookies and cream cakepops, and marionberry handpies). As people with dietary restrictions and allergies, we were so glad to provide delicious treats that everyone could enjoy safely. We are so excited for our next trip to Portland so we can have many more yummy treats. Kyra and team - thank you again for making our wedding even more sweet! We are so grateful to you!

This is by far the BEST gluten-free bakery anywhere!! Kyra's cinnamon rolls and Swedish almond buns are hands down THE BEST-- better than anywhere else, gluten-free or not! The cupcakes are fantastic, and we love the delectable, unique flavors, as well as our favorite- the hot chocolate cupcake. Not to be missed are her cookies!! We have ordered custom cakes dozens of times and feel so incredibly lucky to have AMAZING cakes for birthday celebrations, that everyone can enjoy. She also has delicious donuts, and lunch options!! Not to forget her dinner rolls and baked brie for the holidays.
We have been customers of Kyra's Bake Shop since their opening. Making weekly "special" stops here with my youngest son who had to go gluten-free as a young child was life-saving. He was able to enjoy delicious treats when they were impossible to find. He arrived at birthday parties with something special he could eat, too. Family celebrations have always included treats from Kyras, and I frequently stop by to pick up an assortment of goodies to bring to relatives out of town.
Walking in the front doors, you are transformed into a delightful setting that makes you feel like you are somewhere special. Gluten-free or not, this bake shop is a must-go to!! We absolutely love everything there!!
From start to finish I had a wonderful experience with Lyra’s bake shop! Their menu for cakes is easy to choose from, I was helped quickly with placing a last minute order, and the gluten free cake itself was beautiful and delicious! This place is gluten free heaven. As a person living with food allergies, it can be very difficult to find safe treats. I've been to Kyra's a few times now and I truly cannot say what is my favorite. The cinnamon rolls are absolutely divine. Red velvet, birthday cake, and cookies & cream are also delicious. The hand pies are a hit too. Not in the mood for sweet? Try a savory quiche or a toated club sandwich. They also offer coffee with dairy free milk options. A brown sugar oat milk latte pairs well with any pastry. You can eat on the beautiful patio or take it to-go and enjoy your treat at the park. The staff is always friendly and available to answer questions regarding special orders. You can place an order in advance for birthday parties, weddings, gatherings, and other events. Kyra's Bake Shop is sure to make any food allergy kid do a happy dance. Go ahead..treat yourself.

Being gluten intolerant, it is so hard to find good gluten free sweets- but I have finally found a good place! This bake shop has the sweetest employees and delicious cupcakes & sweets. Great service, good food, awesome place! I love it! I got the salted caramel cupcake and it is so good. 10/10 recommend!
The chocolate caramel ecstasy from Kyra's bakeshop was the best freaking cupcake I've ever had. Right flavors right texture right amount of sweet but not too sweet. I've also had their cinnamon roll and it's also amazing. Was a little underwhelmed by the red velvet cupcake. But I also had one of their donuts and it was sooooooo good. I don't even like donuts.
Did an amazing job on our wedding cakes. We did a tasting and chose our 2 favorites. Our vendors including the caterers who have been to hundreds of weddings said our wedding cake was the best he ever tasted! So amazing to find cake that is gluten free, can be made dairy free too and tastes so delicious! We were so sad when their Portland location closed but we make the drive out to Lake Oswego at least once a month for cupcakes because they are that good!
The Team at Kyra's are all wonderful as well as all the product they have. I have not ordered any full size cakes but I have heard from others who had ordered their wedding cakes from Kyras that they were exceptional. This doesn't surprise me at all. If you have not stopped in their location please try it out. Well worth it.
Go eat these cupcakes immediately!! Every single type has been absolutely perfect on texture and flavor. The coffee is delicious too, which we appreciated. I really enjoyed the vegan options they had, and also their day old section (which still tasted amazing).
We ordered a small tiered cake and four dozen mini cupcakes for our June wedding. Everyone loved them! They were all gluten free and one flavor of cupcake was also dairy free. They tasted incredible, and it was great that even our guests with allergies could enjoy the cake.

Oh my gawd the cinnamon roll was the best soft gooey sticky sweet delicious roll ever in the whole world. Because I am gluten free, I just don't get to eat this sort of thing.
It was delectable.
The parking lot is small though. I came during low traffic hours and it was awesome, but I'll bet this place gets super busy during peak hours.
It's definitely a place to get baked goods... I also had a coffee and a salad and both were mediocre. I was really hoping the coffee would be better.
Just amazing. Great quality rich in flavors but not in sugar. Mac n' Cheese was amazing. The texture was just phenomenally similar to the real thing. Yet, everything is gluten free. This is a place you have to visit if you are in this area.
All i can say is - wow! I reached out to Kyra's Bakery after having difficulty finding any bakery in the area that would be willing to do a mirror glaze. They were willing to take this on, and sent me multiple drafts via email to give feedback on the coloring of the glaze. The final product was amazing! Not to mention - no one at our wedding had ANY idea the cake was gluten free. Super good and great customer service accommodating a unique request! Thank you for hearing me out, executing my vision for this cake, and making our wedding day extra special!
