Probably the best view, food and drinks I've had in the greater Portland area. It's extremely rare to find a place with water front/view AND excellent food and service. This one's a 5 star. Mix with great company and enjoy!!
This is absolutely the best place to hang out and also the best place to catch a film. They always have a nice mix of blockbusters and interesting films and the bar is a nice place to meet the neighbors.
What a fantastic place to see great live music! The food is delicious and the beer is too. Also a fun place to see movies. The staff is very sweet and who doesn't love a beautiful old movie theatre? I've enjoyed every experience I've had there, thank you!
The food and service is on point. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. We spent many days on the patio enjoying a drink and the view. The theater is a nice, small, quaint, comfortable space to enjoy a movie. One of my favorite places to go in LO.
In Spring, Summer and Fall the place to go! Very nice patio with a wonderful view on the lake
This is the place to make you feel some real hometown pride. In good weather I choose the theatre, service, food and fantastic lake views over any hot spot. The ingredients are fresh with great, flavorful combinations, the fries alone will knock your socks off (except it's Oregon so you're wearing flip flops all year). 😉 I highly recommend signing up for their newsletter-I rarely do that, but this makes me love them even more. We are lucky enough to be walking distance, and often invite friends to meet us. Keep up the awesome work, we value and appreciate what a gem you are to Lake O
I was here for Cabaret White yesterday. I’d never been there before, but will again. Beautiful space and scenery!
Love this place, family memories made and amazing service!
Great music venue! Food is great! Movies! Love it! I've both played music here, and attended live show, and if you really want to hear the music this is the place to see it.
This is my favorite place in Lake Oswego year round. They have fireplaces in the winter and lakeside seating in the summer. The food is great and the staff is always on point.
Great venue. Sadly I had to leave unexpectedly and couldn't stay for the movie or dinner. Great staff, and I'm sure the food is delicious and fresh. Can't wait to visit better.
The theatre is clean, the food is very good, but the seats are a little uncomfortable upstairs. There needs to be more leg room. Overall it’s a great experience. The restrooms are clean and the staff are very friendly.
This restaurant and movie theater establishment is a unique experience for a date night. My girlfriend and I watched a movie then had dinner seated on the back deck overlooking the lake. The sun setting over the lake with the crimson red sky was a lovely sight. I ordered the hamburger with no buns. The hamburger itself was pretty dry and the patties were quite thin. So that wasn’t a wowing moment but the service was efficient and the fries were quite good. The hummus appetizer we took into the theater was good with thin tasty flat bread.
Great place to grab dinner and a movie. Their pizza is my favorite in SW Portland - light, crispy, and flavorful.
Had a delightful dinner on the lake. It was a great way to enjoy the last few days of summer.
Great place for date night. Family night. Friend a get together. Great food. Frown folk drinks. HILARIOUS billboard sayings😂
My son and I both just live this place. It’s basically an amazing restaurant that shows movies. Everything about the movie part is wonderful. The folks who work here are really friendly. the food is just incredible.
Woodfired pizza was fantastic. The service was great. Movie theater cute. A little bit of sensory overload. Maybe too many people in a small space?
5 stars is everything. I’ve always loved things here and still do. This is a pizza review. The cheese pizza is super tasty and worth the try. It’s a little small for two people but still worth the drive. Start with the cheese before going to crazy toppings. You will not be disappointed.
Decent food (we had the blackened rockfish), good beer selection and great view with outdoor lakefront seating.
It's a small movie theater with 2 screens. The balcony has original theater seats. Downstairs main theater has patio tables and chairs. Chairs are netting material and were fine for a 2 hour movie. Only had appetizers which would good. Other food we saw coming out looked great, but didn't try any personally. Small, intimate theater, I liked it. Tickets were available online and more affordable than the chains.
A modern version of the small town movie theater. Nice screen and good seats in a cool local place. Dinner options were so good you could come here for just dinner. Instead stay for a movie or eat dinner while watching a movie. Great beer/wine/cocktail selection. You can even get popcorn and candy like everywhere else.
So friendly and nice I'd even come here to watch a bad movie.
The best food, the best people, the best movies. Soooo glad this place exists.
I really love this small movie theater. The food is great, love the popcorn, there are always good beers on draft, and they play excellent movies. Parking nearby can be a little tricky, but I think it's worth it to support this unique spot.
Great, intimate venue for movies. Good food, beer and a full bar.
It was packed for trivia night, so we were lucky to find a place to sit. We all had a great time chatting with friends and playing the game. I hope to make it back for another one really soon. The only downside was that the place was so packed we didn’t have a waiter or waitress so we had to go out to the lobby to order any food or drinks.
Wed night trivia: food is INCREDIBLE. Delightfully surprised by the inventive and approachable flavors and offerings. Mushroom pizza, seasonal pizza, and the grain bowls. Ingrediants are super fresh, well seasoned and beautifully presented. Service was fast and friendly despite a full house; true foody professionals They ran out of cookies, and only had cheesecake as the alternative, so, definately hunting dessert afterwards. Trivia took 2.5 hours to get through 25 questions, which was way too slow for us. We'll be coming back to the venue for different shenanigans for sure.

The Lake Theater is a fabulous venue to see a live performance in or a movie in their theater. Dean Mueller curates a stellar lineup on Monday night showcasing some of the best in Portland's music scene.
