This is one of my wife and my favorite places to eat and enjoy good wine. I recommend stopping by and checking it out if you haven't already. Come by on a Wednesday or Thursday to enjoy wine tasting accompanied with great food.

Food, Folks and Fun is what I think of The Olive & The Grape. Eric and Theresa have brought friendliness, great food and a wonderful selection of wines to Lake Oswego. Their wine tastings on Thursday nights are truly wonderful with great wines and friendly hosts. Just add the beautiful Oregon Summer and you've got wine tasting on the patio with great food pairings! Keep up the great work Eric and Theresa and thanks for choosing our neighborhood!

Some friends invited us here and it is so awesome! Wine bottle prices cannot be beaten by any other restaurant. The food is fantastic an the owner, Eric, is so knowledgeable about wine! I absolutely recommend this place to everyone. The atmosphere is great! Food is from scratch and delicious! Two thumbs up!!

This is simply a great place to hang out. I Spent two hours there working on a financial reporting project with a colleague and all the regulars took an interest and introduced themselves and welcome us. The proprietor, Theresa made the best egg sandwich ever and barista Sue was awesome. Totally local. Totally neighborhood. Totally perfect!

Absolutely wonderful bistro and fabulous wines. The wine selection and recommendations are fantastic and the bottles are at cost with a very modest corkage fee (consider typical local fees), ultimately a far better value for the quality of wine they serve. Also, you can take the bottle home to enjoy at cost. Love Eric and his enthusiasm! So much better than it was before under previous ownership. So much better. Keep it up. So great to finally have a unique dining experience in Westlake!

Had an absolutely amazing meal here at the Olive and the Grape last night- elk meatloaf, seared scallops and braised short ribs on creamy polenta were enjoyed by all. The owner and staff were attentive and amiable. We will be back- most certainly! This is definitely our new favorite local bistro!

Love this place so much! Wine tasting nights are fun and more personalized than most wine bars. Food is fantastic, especially the Flatbread specials, fish specials, and the Carbonara. All the food is good though! Wine is consistently great, even the happy hour ones are fabulous and taste just as good as the higher-priced glasses. This is a perfect place for date night or a night out with a friend. I even came with my family (there were 5 of us total) and they were very accommodating (although I wouldn't recommend this place for big groups larger than 6 or so). Highly recommend, and love that I can walk here with my husband from our apartment! Stephanie and the rest of the staff are awesome.

A friend and I stopped in the other night for the first time and were warmly welcomed by both owners. The food selection is unique and varied and they went out of their way to accommodate by gluten "issues." I had the stuffed pepper -- it was extremely flavorful and paired deliciously with the Bordeaux red wine I had. You'll find a plethora of excellent wine options to select from. Eric, husband of the husband/wife owner duo used to be a wine rep and has a knack for unearthing exceptional wines at reasonable price points that you won't find at the big retailers. Next is to come back for the wine tasting on Wednesday or Thursday night!

Tucked away, off a side street, this delightful, corner wine bar offers a nice, relaxed atmosphere in which to unwind. The wines by the glass that we tried were overwhelmingly lovely. I discovered a new favorite, summer white. When we bought a bottle to drink there, our hostess alerted us that the price on the bottle was the retail price and that there was an additional corking fee. While we were well aware of the prevalence of corking fees, we appreciated that she wished to avoid any later confusion regarding our tab. Even with the corking fee, the bottle was an exceptionally fine wine for a cheaper price per glass by comparison to those wines offered per glass on the menu. So, it's worth perusing their wall of wines, even if you're inclined to drink in rather than carry out. However, as it's a dollar off, per glass, during happy hour, I highly recommend swinging by early after work if you are in the neighborhood. As for the food, we were thoroughly pleased. I love castelvetrano olives and this is the first place I've visited that specifically offers them as an appetizer. The garlic roasted 'cheesecake' with crostini was heavenly and while salads are a cornerstone offering of every restaurant, their house salad, particularly their vinaigrette, impressed me. I look forward to returning their soon.

The owner Eric loves to share his vast knowledge about wine with his guests! Always feel very welcomed here and the food pairs well with the wines. Every week there are new wines to try, and the focus is on great wines that are affordable. Guest from wineries and distributors every week on hand to pour their offerings.

This is a great, warm and friendly neighborhood haunt that is learning to do some remarkably innovative things. the most recent wine and chocolate tasting (in cahoots with Bernard's Chocolates of Lake Oswego) was "over the top" interesting. Any given night, it's a great place to kick back and enjoy some healthy and wholesome food and wine that's nicely curated. Owners/staff are wonderful. Can't say enough good.

Simply put that this center gave me the tools to save my own life. If you don't put in the work then don't expect to get anything out of your stay here. If you leave the door cracked open and listen to what they have to say then you have a chance. The staff could not have been better and the good food was an added bonus. I don't plan on ever returning except for Alumni nights, but that being said I will always cherish the time I spent there and how it changed me forever.
