This place and it's proprietor are adorable. Charming little place with a dog-friendly patio and the most amazing omelette and potatoes that I've had in a very long time. Coffee comes out tin a French press, what a nice surprise. Always looking for a new place for brunch. Can't wait to try it for lunch or dinner.
Best gumbo outside of New Orleans.. and maybe the best from inside New Orleans too. The house vinaigrette was delicious you will wish it was bottled so you can bring it home. I would say that I can't wait to work my way through the menu but its going to be very hard not to keep ordering that gumbo!
Great food! Great vibe! We love eating here! Guiseppe is a great chef and serves a very eclectic menu. Don’t miss the special monthly dinners!
What a fantastic meal!!! Top notch service, the food was the best We have ever had! My crew and myself agree that we will never be able to find a dessert that could live up to the standard of what we had at Caspers!
Absolutely amazing. Giuseppe is amazing as the owner and cook. Actually a very hilarious guy. The place is lovely with all the plants and herbs. Will definitely be going back.
The food was AMAZING and my dulce de leche shakerato cafe was also Amazing!!
I usually take pics of the food but I was hungry and forgot.
Popped in for a quick lunch today. Got a ham and swiss sandwich with a side of fried potatoes. The sandwich was great, especially the bread which reminded me of fresh Cuban bread. The fried potatoes were piping hot, lightly seasoned, and very crispy. I noted that the proprietor went outside and collect some herbs from a small garden to use. I'll be returning.
Stopped in for lunch, first time visiting Casper’s. We had a relaxing outdoor experience, awesome paninis, and great conversation with the chef! Best for me was watching him harvest fresh herbs from the patio, which soon appeared on our fresh yummy potato salad! Looking forward to returning for a coffee and croissant.
Was in search of a unique atmosphere and bam, here we have it! Good espresso drinks, quick and tasty little treats. Had a croissant and machiatto, croissant was warmed and espresso was tasty.
Very quaint little cafe with good breakfast items. They serve lunch too but we only had breakfast there this time. I had the shrimp and andouille omelette, highly recommended! Nice outside seating with lots of plants for a garden feel. The owner is a nice guy who was both our server and chef for our visit. Check out this little gem of a place next time you're in the area.
The food here was absolutely delicious. It’s a small quaint place. The chef was very personable and welcoming. We had a very homey feeling and with the hole experience. We had the croquis madam, there is nothing like hearing your eggs being made to ordered cracked and sizzling in the kitchen. Definitely a place to try out.
Great service. Great atmosphere. Great coffee and food. Also it's not a soulless Starbucks or some other chain. The owner is the main person staffing the place and he named his shop after his best friend and canine companion. The amount of love, joy, and pride he had for that dog was also apparent in how he ran his shop. 10/10 wouldn't go anywhere else when I am in town unless I just wanted to be reminded of how good and under appreciated Casper's is.
Great little place off Park Ave where the owner runs and operates everything. Hours may differ, but if you give a call ahead he's more than happy to take care of you and whip you up an expresso and omlette real quick. Good people.
