Interesting. Appears that my initial review from Jan 16, 2021 may have been deleted. To reshare, I ordered two quesadillas to go and as I was eating mine I bit into something that I thought was an undercooked bean. IT WAS A PIECE OF CHEWED UP CHEWING GUM!!! THERE WAS A PIECE OF CHEWED UP CHEWING GUM IN MY FOOD! HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?! IN A PANDEMIC, NO LESS! I'm beyond disgusted. It took over 24 hours for someone to contact me. Finally a QA person reached out and I put in my complaint with them. On the 18th I finally get a call from the Owner who, instead of profusely apologizing or at least trying to apologize, immediately launches in to a defense of her team and restaurant saying, "no one on my team chews gum" and "everyone wears masks". Well, Jana, apparently they do not, because there was chewing gum inside my food. I'd stay away from this place or at least double check your food before eating it.

I love the food but the service is where this place lacks. I am not one to complain but I have gone in many times and the staff is not friendly and when they are busy they seem annoyed and literally just throw your food together and push you out the door. The reason I am writing this review is because we ordered food from door dash and we were missing one of our burrito bowls and we called and were told that they couldn’t do anything about this.. the bag was clearly sealed TIGHT.. there was no way the driver took the food. The door dash driver was very friendly, but when we called QDoba the attitude the staff gave us was uncalled for and so so rude! Not even an “I’m sorry this happen” just got told they couldn’t help us and it was clear they were annoyed we called .. I have seen how they get when they are busy and I am sure they just completely forgot to make the bowl and were just trying to get the order out of the way. The staff has always been a downside to this place... I am not sure I will ever come back to this location. Such a bummer!!

I wish to have someone who can explain to me why restaurant is selling food if restrooms are closed. As everyone know, during pandemic the most important is too keep your hands clean. I can’t go to this particular Qdoba for lunch just because they decided to close restrooms. What’s funny, that Qdoba is one of my favorite place for lunch, but definitely not on this location. Restrooms MUST BE OPEN IF YOU SELL FOOD, period.

Okay, I'm not the person to complain about service because I'm very easy to please, but please if you go here ask to portion generously because one of my bowls wasn't even halfway full. Definitely going to chipotle next time, terrible portions. They don't know y'all have a family to feed so let them know!!

Update to my previous 2 star review. Within a day or so the owner reached out. I really appreciated the fact that she didn't make excuses and took good care of us by replacing our order. What my wife and I were surprised about was that since this happened we have ordered 3 times and it has been perfect. Last night we ordered the chicken street tacos. Even though we are in the 3 Lakes area and Qdoba is basically South Lake Stevens the food was warm and the presentation was perfect. I really appreciate the leadership, customer service and your ability to take customer complaints as opportunities rather conflict. We will be back soon. Seriously the quality of the ingredients has been amazing from the start. Thank you!
