Great small Italian restaurant! The portions for the price are worth it. Try the calamari for an appetizer. You won't be disappointed. I had the Sole special with a mashed potato bed and seasoned vegetables (squash and zucchini). A friend loved the steak and another loved the shrimp scampi. Try to keep your party smaller though. It can feel a little cramped with a large group. Nonetheless the service was great and the food just as great.
Food was amazing. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. They surprised us with a brownie and ice cream for our anniversary. Will definitely be back. Great Italian food freshly made. The lobster ravioli appetizer will melt in your mouth. The steak was juicy and cooked to perfection. All the seafood was fresh. Zak T. Was a great waiter
The doorway into the restaurant is a little underwhelming. The interior is a touch outdated but not too off-putting. I was seated right away and in time for the reservation. Ordered calamari, bottle of Chianti, lobster ravioli, chicken piccata. All of the food was excellent. The ravioli is tasty and of high quality. It comes in a rich sauce and option of qty 4 or 6. The piccata is lemony, buttery and smooth. Fork tender chicken smothered in sauce and tiled with capers. Gabriel, our waiter was fabulous and even knew my name. I was impressed with the food and the service.
This might be the best Italian food I have ever tasted. Many American Italian restaurants fall into the category of being too "heavy", featuring too much cream and sodium. The dishes I ate here were fresh and light while still being undeniably Italian tasting. Everyone from the host to waiter were wonderful. A small gripe might be the lack of parking; the lot isn't enough to fit cars for each guest if busy and there isn't easily accessible street parking nearby. But this is a small inconvenience to deal with considering how overall perfect the experience inside is.
Looking for somewhere special with a classic feel. The decor might look dated to one, is really a treasure and memory maker for another.
Definitely make a reservation and get there a little early. Parking can get crazy.
Our waitor was amazing.
We mentioned it was our anniversary in the reservation and they gave us a tasty gift to make that memorable experience.
This place was unexpectedly delicious! The location isn’t glamorous, but the food is tasty, fresh, and perfect for a special occasion. We were here for Mother’s Day, and we reserved a table ahead of time which helped with the wait. Back to the food! We ordered the eggplant stack starter, spaghetti and meatballs, fettuccine alfredo carbonara w/ chicken, calamari steak, and the clams with linguine.
Ok, a few important notes:
1. You bet I tried all the dishes! I do the ol’ “do-you-want-to-try-my-dish” trick. This is how I get to taste everything🍽 A little reciprocity☺️
2. They give you free bread with olive oil and balsamic(which is extra tangy and delicious) to dip into!
3. You can substitute linguine or spaghetti for angel hair pasta (which is my fave)! You can probably substitute for other pasta too.
Notes done. Here’s a ranking of the tastiness of the dishes. I’ll go in descending order from good to life-changing…
6. Spaghetti & meatballs
5. Calamari steak (soo tender)
4. Chicken alfredo
3. Free bread
2. Clams & linguine (clams were plenteous and that garlic white wine sauce 🙌🏽)
1. Eggplant stack starter (this was on the small side, but the tomatoes and pesto(?)combination was very flavorful and memorable)! Wow!!
Some more things to say….Service is great, parking is good, staff is friendly, place looks clean.
Definitely recommend!
By far the best Italian restaurant we have ever eaten at. Not only was the food amazing, but had the best customer service. Mind you we did not have a small group, there was a total of 16 of us (6 of those being children). Every one of staff members made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant. Wish we could give them more than 5 stars.
