The owners really care about animals. They give back to our pet community and are actively involved in rescue groups. Everyone there is patient with the most challenging of dogs (especially my Lily). Prices are fair and my dogs always come home beautifully coiffed. I highly recommend this establishment.
Great shop! Knowledgable staff provided tips and pointed out the most durable toys as well as treats for sensitive tummies. Next time I'm in the area- I'll be sure to stop by!
Thank you for your help yesterday. In the midst of my work day me and a coworker came across two new born kittens abandoned in a shopping bag behind a water heater and remembered the small pet store down the street so we came there looking for milk but you all jumped into action and got them all the care they needed without hesitating for one second. I've had large dogs most my life and consider myself a knowledgeable pet owner. With that said, there is always more to learn. The staff at Paws is magnificent! They've done their homework. They're fully knowledgeable on the products they carry & their LOVE for animals is evident. Looking forward to my next visit.
Love this store!! They know you by name, they know what your furever baby likes. They are knowledgeable and kind. Wouldn't dream of buying at one of the big box pet stores. I very much prefer the customer service and wonderful employees here. And they always give Roni a treat when we come into the store :)

A Lake Worth institution. If you own a pet and don’t go here, what are you doing?
Impressive selection of specialty foods and medicine, home goods, merch, toys and treats, and even adoptable kittens to greet you at the door.
But the real reason to go here is the people. Incredible folk who are kind as can be and know you and your pets like old friends.
You’ll pay a couple bucks more than at petsmart, but for that premium you get: a convenient location and hours of operation, a bespoke shopping experience curated by excellent people, and the satisfaction of supporting a local cornerstone rather than a big-box conglomerate.

We love this place. They have the nicest employees, an impressive assortment of merchandise including hand-made dog cookies, high-quality food and treats, fun leashes and shirts. We started shopping here when Carolyn first opened. We just bought the hand-made, decorated cookies to celebrate one of our dog's birthday. Both of our dogs loved the cookies (and one dog is picky).
My dogs and I love Paws on the Avenue! I have 5 rescues and we celebrate their adoption days and birthdays. It's always so fun to take my dogs in on their special days to pick out a treat from the bakery and a new toy. The staff always greets us with a smile and a treat for the dogs. Whenever I need help or have a question someone is always available.
They suggested a new food for my moms dog for an upset stomach and she loved it. They gave me some free samples to try before we buy. Very friendly staff too!
