What wonderful service by Nicole B this afternoon! The flavor combinations by the chef are amazing and s/he creates the most delicious food. We had 2 appetizers: crab and eggplant Napoleon plus Louisiana Foundeax. Both were delicious and freshly prepared! I had shrimp and grits which was an amazing combination of shrimp, bacon, and grits with red gravy. My dad had grouper and shrimp with grits mixed with andouille sausage and a red sauce. The grouper and shrimp were grilled perfectly and seasoned with a dry Cajun and fresh rosemary sprig. My son had a great cheeseburger on a fresh warm brioche bun. We finished up with homemade key lime pie with a great thick graham cracker crust! Thank you for a wonderful meal and impeccable service!

At the corner of Cajun and Kentucky! Downtown Lakeland, a cityscape trinity of nature, architecture and art. Tree-shaded streets meandering One Way and the other, over, down and around mirrored watery reflections. Brick and bush, glass and grass, car park and city park. So worthy of the eye feast it beckons. Step inside Harry's, never mind your clock. Time has stopped. Realize the true meaning of 'If these walls could talk!' as your eyes pan and zoom the room. This building breathes from another age, another time. The walls carry your gaze upward to the curvy continuity of the embossed tin ceilings. YOU are now a part of this artful artifact! My first Harry's outing was close to thirty years ago. Since then, it's been a place for family, friends and a birthday party or two. On this day, it was time to entice my Fab Fiancée. And so it begins.... Our Cajun Chaperone for the day was the ever-capable Kayla! She brought the kitchen kreations to our table, escorted the empties away, chatted and laughed with us. She was one of two women at that moment who would put up with my quips and quotes. Alas, she could walk away, but she hung in there. Bravo! My lady ordered the Crispy Calamari. She received a heapin' helping of these delicate delights! She is a connoisseur and I could see she was enjoying these deep fried OHHHH-rings! She also opted for a side of the Red Beans & Rice, which she enjoyed but wished it had a bit of meat broth taste or bits of sausage within. Just sayin. I ended up ordering my favorite Harry's must-have, the Jambalaya! I received a hubcap sized portion of their Signature savory sensation. Who knew shrimp, chicken and sausage could dance so well with rice and spice???? I ate every bit plus I was tempted to swipe the bowl clean with some bread, but I remained a true Southern Gentleman and refrained..Oh, the temptation. In closing, don't just go eat at Harry's. Indulge, explore and enjoy. Take time to look around, in a place where time meets its past.

So yummy!!! My boyfriend and I have never been to Harry's but mutual friends have said how Incredible the food is. We have the blackened red fish and blackened mahi mahi and man was it good! I'm not a grits girl at all but wow! So amazing! The service was semi slow, but the food was well worth it!

What can I say?! It may be the best dinning experience in this area. When you go sit in the bar area and hope that Nicole B is your server. And if you’re real nice Robin may visit your table. Btw, the food is OUTSTANDING.

Harry’s is our favorite restaurant in Polk County. The food and the service is always excellent. The downtown Lakeland setting makes a trip to Harry’s even better!

You cannot make a mistake on your order. EVERYTHING IS GOOD! from the bread and butter to the dessert. I recommend calling ahead for seating because there’s usually a wait on weekends. Tonight I had and recommend the Grouper Fingers with the most amazing tartar sauce and Jambalaya as my entree. **New edit: The last two times I have visited, the service was absolutely awful! Both times they forgot my appetizer or beverages including alcohol. The dishes are spicy, so timely refills are important. They completely forgot I ordered appetizers and my friends bar beverage. At one point I flagged our waitress to remind her of our beverages and she told me we just have to wait because she was very busy. They tried to bring the missing appetizers at the end when I asked them to make sure it wasn’t on the bill. Who eats an appetizer after the meal?? One of the times, I asked to speak with a manager, who approached the table with a bothered attitude. Again, the food is amazing, but the service is a hit or miss. I also do not recommend any of their alcoholic beverages. My friends always complain about them.

Visiting from out of town, specifically Baton Rouge Louisiana and was referred to this amazing spot! We had the Chicken Jolie Blonde & the Shrimp & Grits and WOW! Phenomenal tasting food, beautiful plated presentation and great ambiance. Even as busy and packed as the restaurant was service was incredible. Our server Curtis was great and informative about menu options. We will definitely be recommending and will be back again.

Every dish ordered was hands down amazing! The bread and spread was the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The service was also immaculate. Be sure to come here if you want an authentic taste of New Orleans.

Out of all my years living in POLK . I have never been here. As we was walking downtown we noticed this spot. I fee like its a hidden gym. I wish there were more of these restaurants around. Food is awesome, drinks were amazing, and the service was outstanding. Prices were reasonable. They also have Happy Hour. 2 ppl entrees & 4 alcoholic drinks, & a reg drink our total was under $60. There bread and garlic butter that they serve as an appetizer is to die for. I will be visiting this place more often….now that i have found them and enjoyed it. Perfect place for a date night. The lightening is just right.

Great little spot close to the square. It's deceivingly bigger on the inside than I thought. We sat on the patio. It was a busy Sunday but our server kept checking in on us and the food came out in good time. The fried green tomatoes were good but I have had better. The crab cakes were good and I opted for a side salad. Everything was good but nothing wowed me. I'd still come back! There are plenty of things on the menu I'd like to check out.

Moved to Lakeland not long ago and every time I've gone downtown I've noticed this place is packed! For good reason! Went here for date night and every single thing we ordered was made to perfection and tasted amazing. Our waiter Jacob was phenomenal, making sure our drinks were always full and we were taken care of. Everything ghere is scratch made and tastes of heaven. I recommend the chicken Jolie Blonde. I don't think I can get anything else on the menu, even though it will all be amazing!

Come here regularly for date night with my wife. We usually start off with the she crab soup and the gumbo. Can't go wrong with those as appetizers. My entree was a Blackened Mahi Arugula with Nola rice. Flavors were perfect but the Mahi was underwhelming and overcooked. Wife had the steak tenderloins with smashed red potatoes. Hers was flavorful and tender.

First time going to this establishment, it was very busy. We were seated faster than the time given which was great. The atmosphere was pleasant. Started out with dip the cheese on top was burnt after stirring it up and took off some of the burnt cheese it was tasty, weren't expecting actual bread to go along with the dip. The crab cakes were delicious and the mahi too. I asked for mashed potatoes as an extra side which I never got. The server who brought out our food I mentioned it to her, never got it. I'm not sure if it was because they were busy or the actual server we had, had too many tables we didn't get the premier service I was expecting based on others review.
