We stopped in just for an appetizer, the Wild West Shrimp -- a large
portion of lightly fried shrimp with pepperoncini and a ranch dipping sauce. The
freshly-baked loaf of complimentary bread was the tastiest we've ever had. What
impressed us the most, though, was manager Vickie greeting us after we had
been seated, and checking in later to see how the food was. Very refreshing to
see a caring manager making sure everyone's experience is exceptional.
Food was seasoned very well. Friendly staff. Great lunch deals 😁

Excellent Service and Staff .
Stopped in for a quick dinner and was very happy with the visit. The staff was super friendly and very professional from the host staff to the wait staff. Good was delicious and and very timely. My waitress was also the bartender at the same time and was able to keep up with everyone, kept drinks full, and was always checking up on me. The cost was a lot less than what I figured it would have been for the food and the atmosphere. When all was said and done, The mobile pay was user friendly, very easy. Will be back next time I’m in town.

I just want to say the store manager and owner are running an excellent restaurant. I am one who notices details not just food and service. The restaurant is clean which is almost unheard of these days especially in Polk county. The food and service is great every time I go in. Even if an order is wrong they are happy to correct it with a smile. But they go above and beyond. There is a lot of decor in the store and I noticed NO dust on pictures lights or decor. Everything I looked at was dust free. And the bathrooms were clean as well. You just don’t see that any more in restaurants. It’s good to see such a clean place because you know if the seating area is that well taken care of and perfected with cleanliness chances are so is the kitchen. I’d also like to add it’s not unusual to see the manager up front working with his employees seating people or greeting guests. He knows team work. We go often but yesterday Oct 1 I finally had to mention it the manager as it’s never changed. Great teamwork and management.
My wife & I were celebrating our 51st wedding anniversary. Through the years, we've chosen Longhorn many times, at our place to celebrate this occasion. Today, our steaks were delicious & the service was spectacular.
The food right here is great, a little pricey sometimes in different cuts but to do it every few months a year is good. The ribs are to die for and the porterhouse is juicy. Only sometimes a cook needs to take care of the pepper. The bread is so good that I repeat it every time.
I had a fantastic experience at Longhorn Restaurant today, even though they were a bit understaffed. Despite the situation, the service was remarkably prompt and attentive. Our waitress consistently checked on us, offering refills and ensuring our needs were being met.
I was impressed that despite the challenges, our food arrived hot and everything was delicious. The flavors were on point, and the quality was exceptional.
Additionally, we asked if we could have a booth and even though we were told there wasn’t one available at the moment, the hostess was able to accommodate us, which added to the overall comfort of our dining experience. Longhorn Restaurant continues to exceed expectations and never disappoints. Their dedication to providing great service and maintaining food quality, even under challenging circumstances, is truly commendable. Much better than the experience we received at Bob Evans just a little before arriving. We will continue to visit this location in the future!
Lunch date it was with my hubby first time at this establishment...food was delicious with the exception why I rate it a 4 star. The parmesan four cheese dip needs to be melted a bit more not sure if they used a cheese that's not made for melting otherwise everything else was delicious.
We went on a Monday at around 3pm. We were seated in less than 5 minutes. Our server was super nice. I cant remember her name. Our appetizer was delicious. It was fresh. Our entrées were just as good along with our sides. I had mashed potatoes and he had mac n cheese.
I was planning a 60th Anniversary dinner for my parents. I called and spoke with Scott a week before and he was so accommodating and helpful. I feel he went above and beyond to assist me. The evening of the event we showed up early to dress up the tables and he quickly put our tables together and let us know our servers names. Larry and Terrance were on point. Very attentive to our party of 13. I can’t speak highly enough of these folks, and all the other staff that we interacted with. We have always enjoyed your restaurant but last night was outstanding. Thank you all again for making this special occasion extra!
Long horn has always been good?! Great steaks and atmosphere! If you want a great steak this is place is a staple for just that! Just don’t get a steak well done that’s a sin😅. Overall great experience!
I have been there over 10 times and I have always found it to be a great place to have dinner...my friend and I were there October 14. And our waitress was Angela. She really knows how to treat people the right way....when I come back to have dinner again. I will always ask to be seated in her section.....I owned a RESTAURANT. And I know a Good a Waitress when I see one......Thank You......
I had a nice date lunch with my daughter recently. Our server kept my diet soda topped up and with plenty of limes at all times. Milly loved her burger - the meat was so juicy. I really enjoy the 7-pepper steak salad - scrumptious! We also tried the fried onion starter (I can remember it’s cool name). It was very nice. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I would definitely recommend this location.
Friday night dinner for two, wait time less than ten minutes. Female server Aubree C was quick to refill drinks, bread, etc., and was very attentive without being annoyingly ever present. Meal was very good, prepared perfectly, and was ample with leftovers. Great dining experience.
Went late at night on a Saturday and the service was great and the food was awesome. Told my 13 year old to get what he likes and naturally he ordered the gigantic Porterhouse steak! Good times.
Food was excellent, but waitress felt a little rushed and somewhat impolite or unprofessional. Then towards the end, when they were about to close, you could hear two of the waitresses gossiping about another table that didn’t leave them tips, which also felt unprofessional to me as a customer to be hearing about
