Oh my goodness the food there is always great the chicken is so tasty and the food is always picture perfect I love that restaurant! The employees are very nice. I ordered the half grilled chicken with yellow rice black beans and sweet plantains and it was so tasty. They have a white sauce I don't know what it is but it is the bomb you have to try it!
Had a good experience here, but the environment is a little strange the first time you visit - you order at the counter but it almost seems like it should be a sit down place, and there was a lot of open space like there should have been tables present but they were removed. We ordered a bottle of wine with our dinner, that was a mistake. (There's a reason they sell it so cheap) With that said, though, we had a great meal. My wife had a 1/4 chicken and black beans with yellow rice and potatoes. I had the sauteed pork and wow it had great flavor. I would definitely repeat and come again!
It was our first visit and it took a second to realize we should go up to the counter to order, before taking a seat.
I had the ceviche - it was really terrific! I love cilantro, but it wasn't over the top with that flavor. Hubby had a surf n turf something... steak and scallops and yucca - and he was a big fan of his dish too!
I eat lunch here a lot. The staff are very friendly and courteous. I love the chicken! The black beans are tasty with the yellow rice! Great little local place that does it right!

Very good specials and better portions! I love rice and beans and theirs was delicious. The different sauces/veggies were an awesome addition to the meal. Overall, the food was great and I can’t wait to go back.
I LOVE THIS PLACE! I eat here at least 2 to 3 times a week! There rotisserie chicken and garlic potatoes are BOMB! Their desserts are delicious the Nutella 3 leches and Flan are 10 out of 10
The food is incredible here! Zarza is one of my favorite places to eat in Lakeland and the fact that it's a local family run business makes it even better! I moved to Winter Haven from Lakeland a couple years ago and still drive 30+ minutes just to eat at Zarza. My go to order is the half chicken, rice, beans, and plantains. All of the sauces they offer are delicious as well. 5 stars!
Their food is amazing. The plantains and the black beans was so out of this world. Great great customer service! If you guys looking for an awesome Latin food restaurant to eat for lunch, dinner, or brunch with your friends and family, this is the one!! You will not be disappointed!

Food here was quite good and the service was pleasant. This was my wife and I's first time eating here. The cashier was ready with a number of her own recommendations which made the ordering process much easier on us. At her recommendation, I ordered the chicken fried rice and my wife ordered the quarter chicken special. She also recommend that we try the sauce bar which we did. All of the food had a refreshing Latin flair with a bounty of flavor. I would be excited to see this location grow
Really great Latin food in Lakeland, hard to find somewhere else that has a great selection of taste entrees and sides at fair prices. Quality was great and the food was flavorful! Highly recommend trying the various salsas/sauces they have on the table and in that mini bar past the drinks. The Life Sauce (I think that's what it's called) was amazing when paired with the grilled beef I ordered. Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back to try out the myriad of entrees available!

We had the lunch special: 1/4 chicken w/black beans and yellow rice, and the grilled pork, which comes with 2 sides -- we got black beans & rice and yucca fries.
Everything was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. I can usually take or leave beans when they accompany a restaurant dish, but these were amazing, and we didn't leave any behind.
Several sauces/condiments are available, and they are happily provided upon request. Not that the food needs it, but they did make a lovely addition to our meals.

Zarza is a little gem of a Latin restaurant in the Cleveland Heights neighborhood of Lakeland. They have a fresh salsa bar with many house made salsas available to compliment your meal. There is also a selection of fresh sauces ON the tables too. We had grilled steak and roasted chicken, served with rice, black beans and the most perfect-to-die-for golden plantains. We are always made to feel special here. 5 STARS!
1st time tonight, the staff (girl who took the order) very nice and friendly. I don’t recall eating Peruvian before but the food was decent. A little different than what I am used to but definitely a nice place to visit and support. Next I will try the rotisserie chicken.
Loved my take out dinner! I asked for a recommendation and was not disappointed. The pork special was amazing! Didn't even get a picture of it. The rice and beans are wonderful too! I'll be back.
