What a great find for a visitor of Lakeland!! Authentic music on the background, super friendly and professional staff, reasonable prices, and delicious food! Sauces are fantastic OMG. What I also loved were the spices! Just right amount in every meal to taste all the variety! Noodle chicken soup was something else, I think I never will be able to eat mine again! ☺️ Strongly recommend this place! Thank you, Tyler!
I think this is my favorite Indian restaurant I’ve tried in Lakeland thus far (and I do love Indian so I’ve tried a good amount). They are located right off a side street of downtown and are very easy to miss walking by, but it’s a simplistic and cute place.
I got the tikka masala and enjoyed it very much. It had slices of peppers and onions in it and that was a lovely touch. My friend tried the butter chicken, and it was also her first time trying any Indian, and she was immediately in love. The rice was cooked perfectly and the naan- the naan was the real show stopped, it was so soft and thick bread, some of the best naan by far I’ve tried at ANY Indian place, hoo-yah!
Our waitress was the sweetest young lady, and she was the only server during a bush lunch hour and she was really working super hard. The fact that she still was so nice to us said a lot, and this will definitely be the restaurant I come back to anytime I’m craving Indian, and that is a common occurrence for me!
The only complaint I have is that I was too full to keep eating. The food was delicious, so good it felt rude to leave without doing my own dishes.
Darlings of the interwebs. This place is amazing and they do everything to suit your tastes from the way the food looks I had the chicken delight with Korma. It didn't look like it had enough raisins. So my waitress was amazing and got me more. She took her time to get me the wine that suited my meal and was overall pleasant where I didn't feel rushed or anxious. Do come here its worth the wait !!!
Waiter was very Sincere, and really wanted to be sure we were informed as to the types of foods, and spicy levels! Great menu, and v Dr ry Authentic. Peaceful Atmosphere and Spotless Clean. 3 for 3 on Excellend experiences.

First time visit last night. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
Food was good. Had Naan, a type of bread, with cheese.
Pictured is Vegetable Paneer with Korma sauce. The vegetable I think was butternut squash?? But was very tasty. I don't do spicy food and this was not. Perfect for me.
A relaxed casual atmosphere. Would come here again.
In regards to safe practices...they were doing good regarding 50% capacity. Staff is not wearing masks or gloves.
I lived in England for several years as a boy and Indian food became a staple of my diet. Cafe Roti has the best curry I have ever had since living in England. My family and I are regulars here. The butter chicken is to die for, I could eat it every day. The service is good and the owner is very nice. They are located in a beautiful new location in downtown Lakeland. If you are on the fence about going, don't be, just go and you won't regret it.
The interior rooms of the new location are spacious and beautifully furnished with exotic art. The food is superb. Don’t be afraid to ask questions if you aren’t familiar with Indian cuisine. Taste wise there is something for everyone to enjoy. Great location near the downtown park and lakes.
Service was very fast. Our server explained the menu and answered all of our questions. Enough food to have leftovers!
WE LOVE THIS PLACE! Our favorite Lakeland restaurant. Food is excellent. New location is lovely and more convenient. Service can be slow if they are busy... but SO worth the wait!

Enjoyed lunch at the restaurant today. I ordered the special which included butter chicken, basmati rice, naan bread and an onion side item. The food was very tasty. The butter chicken recipe changed a little, it was less thick and had a slightly different flavor. The portion was just right for lunch. I will go there again.
Beautiful inside... Service is exemplary. Food is wonderful, very generous portions.. and don't forget the mango lasse drink... Everything is so good

I had the chicken vindaloo. It was good. Garlic naan should have more garlic, but everything else was great. Love it. Highly recommend!
Eating here is usually a great experience and this visit was no difference. Our waitress was very helpful in explaining a few items to us, serving our food and drinks, and checking up on us frequently. The menu selections have a large variety for choices to fit different preferences. We did miss the former buffet however. Since two of our group are gluten free, the waitress explained we could have papadoes (sp?) instead, an excellent flat, crispy alternative. While it took some time for our main course to be served, our table and the many other tables with diners didn't seem to mind the time for conversations in the pleasant environment. The food was tasteful with authentic Indian flavors and spices. The waitress laughed when I suggested my wife try the Indian sauce--the hottest choice available, but of course my wife passed on the opportunity. I highly recommend eating here. Parking is on a public street so plan to search if you come at certain times.
