Southern cooking at its finest. If you're looking for a great meal with a casual dining environment, this is the place. We were passing through and enjoyed the fish fry, fried okra, and hush puppies so much, we went back for breakfast.

The staff are delightful rays of sunshine on a cloudy day �� and I love everything on their menu from the cheeseburger omelette to the open face roast beef dinner, yum!!!

I eat here all the time now the food is always excellent and I love the waitresses they're always busy busy busy and my drink never remains empty I also love that they have alternative foods like turkey bacon and turkey sausage! I always leave smiling

Like many others I've driven by for years. Yesterday I decided to stop and order breakfast. I was impressed the moment I walked in. The dinning room was full and the decor was very homey. The menu and the prices were great and the staff was very courteous. I order carry out and one i sat down t eat I was amazed. TThe porions were great and the food was outstanding. I think I'll order quin today.

Every time we go which isn't often enough, we have has excellent service and food. The resturant is usually always busy. The food is really good. I've had numerous foods and I have found them to be good and well proportioned. The place is clean.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would.
My family and I were traveling through the area and needed a place to stop and eat. We didn't want fast food, but we didn't want to take the kids to a place with a bar atmosphere, which unfortunately is becoming a growing majority.
After finding this place and entering the door, we were immediately struck by how friendly and attentive the waitresses were, and it was obvious that they knew just about every customer in there by name. They made sure we had a table big enough for us, and gave the kids some coloring pages. The food was inexpensive and tasted wonderful. Nothing fancy or anything, just really good regular American diner food.
This place was like an oasis in a desert full of fast food and bar restaurants. If you need somewhere for you and your kids to go, this is the place.
I had a recent breakfast here that was hearty. This is a small diner style restaurant that you can tell is a favorite with the locals. No frills with friendly service and reasonably priced food.
The servers (& service) were wonderful. The food was decent, no complaints at all. We would definitely go back. Atmosphere is okay. Has a baseball theme.
Stopped in on a Wednesday morning for breakfast. This is not my first time here but it is my first review. The baseball atmosphere is a plus. From observing all the clientele in an out it appears to be a local favorite. Many of them are on a first name basis with the waitresses and staff. The food is a good homestyle atmosphere. You will wait for up to 25-30 minutes from ordering to eating...attribute that to the popularity of the location. If you are patient it will be worth the wait. Oh BTW if you want crispy hash browns ensure you tell them so...if not they will disappoint.
The Pork Tenderloin sandwich was delicious and fresh. I definitely will be back for round 2.
Love this little place although it may be crowded when you go since the locals know about it! Food is great and the prices are cheaper than anywhere else you'll find in Lakeland. Wish they did dinner outside of just the Friday night fish fry which is that only time they're open beyond lunch. I would be going alot more if they did!
Omgggg this place is freaking amazing!! They NEVER DISAPPOINT!!! Their baked beans are AMAZING!! Green beans and out of this WORLD!! Their homemade coleslaw is unreal!!! Actual homemade food from scratch!!! I could go on and on. Prices are reasonable and affordable. They are on point with special request. Just all around 5+star!!!! Great family diner with good food! The waitresses are awesome and friendly too! The only downfall is there isn't enough parking sadly.

This is a great local diner! The breakfast is hot, fresh and tasty. The service is nice and very friendly. This is a hidden gem in Lakeland and way, way better than the national restaurant chains.

In from Ocala for a home inspection and found this little gem! Food was fantastic, service to match. Portions were more than enough. Would definitely revisit and/or recommend.
Fantastic experience. Excellent food, especially enjoyed the layered breakfast. Staff was incredibly friendly. I only give it 4 stars because of the hours they are open. I have lived in Lakeland 7 years and this is the first time I’ve been able to make it in. If it were open for dinner even just a couple days a week I would probably come in way more frequently.
