I was so disappointed when Sub Port closed - best sandwiches! I was craving a sub this past week and looked for a "Jersey" style sub shop. FoundJersey Mike's not far from Tampa Stadium. They are a little pricey, but boy did they make the best sandwich I've had since Sub Port!!! Very courteous staff. We will be back and we'll try their location in Winter Haven also since it is much closer.
I am not one to normally write a review. However, I have been at this location numerous times. Aside from the great subs, they have the friendliest staff. Not once have I gone in there where the staff was not genuinely polite and courteous!
Best subs in Tampa for sure. Italian is my favorite.
Second best sandwich in the country. I drive over an hour to get a #9, once a month. Hurry up and open in Lakeland!!!
I ordered from this location by mistake, and went to the one by my house before I realized I had messed up when selecting which location to order from. So this review is really for the employees not the food or location. I want to give a shout out to the Team Lead that was working today around 2pm (11/12/23) he was kind and quick to refund my order so I could reorder with the correct location. I was having a rough day, one thing after had went wrong and this mistake on my part just about had me on tears, i was completely beat. His kindness and understanding made all the difference in the situation and It was the one and only positive in my very rough day! Most would of shown disdain or exasperation over this mistake but this Team lead handled the issue quickly and kindly. Very much appreciated!
If you want to sound like a regular when you order tell them the size then the number of the sandwich then the type of bread . I.e. " I'll have a Giant 13 on White Mike's way." The meat is cut as you order. Make sure to try one of the sandwiches with "the juice" it's also called Mike's way. (Vinegar, Oil, and Spices) definitely worth it to get the rewards. You'll have a free sandwich faster than you think.
Delicious sandwiches(cheesesteak) and excellent customer service. All of the employees were very welcoming, friendly and professional. The manager on duty on Sunday, July 23rd at lunchtime (young lady) went above and beyond with great customer service not only for us, but other customers, as well. Looking forward to returning!
Manager was all by herself and still managed to show excellent customer service, despite 10 different orders staring at her in the face. She worked so fast and even offered the jobless/homeless man in the picture a job right on the spot. He declined and went back to his spot though.
This one is our family favorite Jersey Mike’s. We always stop here when driving across the state. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and the food is good.
This is by far the best Jersey Mike's Subs I have ever been to. Andrew has created a great work atmosphere. Every employee was a delight to talk with. Andrew came over and talked to us for about 20 minutes, and we had a great conversation about how good of a place he has created here. Customer service is still alive and living here. If anybody has something bad to say then it just means they didn't take the time to talk to Andrew, because I'm sure he would help solve any issues fairly. The food is always good, and they make the subs just as I ask. I will continue to make this a go to place!
The food was delicious. Minor issue Pepsi dispenser was out, and they didn't have bottles either.
Stopped in to grab food and from the moment we walked in, Justin’s energy was incredible. He was friendly, very polite and energetic. He prepped the food perfectly. I felt as if I knew Justin for years. Customer service was excellent. I will definitely be back. The food was amazing.
Very good, Giant Subs are actually Giant. Bread is soft and not to crusty. Be prepared to be asked multiple questions when ordering.
I grew up in NY and went to the Jersey shore quite often. I went to Mike's Many times and loved the sandwiches. So when it opened here I made sure to go. But, unfortunately I was semi disappointed because although the service is good and the flavor is good the sandwich is ruined because the Bread is nothing like the original offers.
I recently ordered Jersey Mikes catering for a party. They were individually wrapped roast beef sandwiches and they were excellent. Every one enjoyed them and although I had lots of other food all my guests wanted to grab a few sandwiches to go as well since they couldn't resist Jersey Mike's. I ate one a few days after the party and it was still tasting fresh and the bread was soft. I ordered tomatoes on the side and they did just as I asked. The delivery person was delightful and on time. Thank you Jersey Mikes!
One of my favorite chain sub shops - not all bread, super fresh. Favorite is the Original Italian Mike’s Way.
This location is quite busy but don't let that deter you. The quality is outstanding, the subs are always delicious and they have something for everyone. The staff is friendly and a pleasure to speak with. Make sure you get a Triple Chocolate cookie. You won't be disappointed. And don't forget to sign up for the loyalty program! They have a lot of great deals on their app.
