Review Hy-vee - Lakeville

I love going to Hyvee and I have never had a problem with the store. My mom and I first went to the Savage Hyvee and when we explained our situation to the floral counter cashiers, they were so kind and sympathetic. However, they couldn’t help us because of funeral home location issues, so we went to the Hyvee in Lakeville. My issue was at the Lakeville Hyvee. My father died unexpectedly from Covid-19 on January 30th, 2021. I went to Hyvee on December 5th to purchase a floral arrangement for my father’s casket. The floral arrangement itself was beautiful and arrived at the funeral home on time for the wake and funeral. I was very pleased with the ribbon. Everything was spelled correctly on the ribbon, and it was a very attractive looking floral arrangement. However, my problem lies with Trisha the manager who checked us out on 12/05/21. She was rude and stand-offish. She acted as if she did not want to be bothered and we had to search for help purchasing the floral arrangement. I would come back to Hyvee for floral arrangements but not at the Lakeville location. The product was great, but the customer service was horrible.

Love this store so many things we find that's not in other grocery stores, like clothes and place to sit down and eat. I had a burger and onion sticks that were delicious. Have bakery with amazing bread and a separate dessert counter with torts and handmade candy and cakes. It's fun just to go and look around and have lunch

Store is great, but they need at least 1 associate in self-checkout. I haven't been able to use my fuel rewards because no employee is available to process it. Edit: After store management replied and asked me to reach out, they added the appropriate amount of fuel saver points to our account, and they said they'll look into any staffing issues.

Amazing store and employees! Stopped for breakfast. Menu was amazing. The morning cocktail menu was so fun. Food and service were awesome. Then we grocery shopped and they have such a great selection. Thanks Hy-Vee!

I love Hy-Vee options, but I wish some of it wasn't quite so expensive. The desserts are amazing... The selections of items (desserts and otherwise) throughout the store is wide and enticing. Love the unique small business products they offer while also having all the norms on hand too.

I rated it 3 because of their produce and fruit which I won’t buy because it isn’t fresh. Twice I have bought 2 different kinds of potatoes and had to throw them out in less then a week because they were rotting. The bakery goods in the glass displays are too pricey to buy. I do buy from their deli both their meat and potato salad which is very good.

I like the store somewhat but I get so confused in there. I am unfamiliar with a lot of their products. It's nice to get a quick meal for lunch or for dinner in the food to go area.

No checkout staff. Manager and employees just stood in front part of store and watched as only 1 checkout lane operated for more than 10 minutes with 6 customers waiting to check out. Other HyVee employees were just standing around the store chatting. Need to replace manager. 1pm 3/24/22. Customer service as bad as Best Buy and that's alot worse.
