They have the best French fries and I love that they toast the bun on their hot dogs, that's the way I like them. Everything I have had do far has been great. And the staff is very friendly and the service is fast. I am not sure if her name but the woman that is usually at the window is very nice and knows my name and order when I call. That should tell you that I order from them alot. So glad I found this place.

Clean inside with great service. The chowder and clam cakes are to die for and the food is cooked to perfection. We have been going there for years.

Food taste very good, but they do charge alot for not much portion size. Some people don't mind that, but I hate feel that I got ripped off. Food is very tasty.

This site is my favorite place. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. Whenever I want to go to a superb lunch, this place comes straight to my head. best and many types of food and a large menu.helpful team, and agreeable vibes. Not less important, the bill is modest. I sent my friends to this restaurant with no hesitation.

Horrible customer service. When picking up I was completely ignored and they even shut the lights off on me! I called my order in at 7:30 and asked if they were still taking orders and was there in less than 10 minutes. I have always had a poor experience with their customer service. Trying to support local businesses at the moment... will support ones that are actually appreciative going forward.

Had the fried clam plate. The clams were chewy and like rubber. They also had no taste. Called to let them know of my dissatisfaction and spoke to the chef who told me just put salt on them. Not what I wanted to hear ... no empathy at all. Won’t ever go back again. They lost a good customer.

Every time I've gone to J & J Seafood I've had a great dinner. I grew up eating there. The most disappointing thing about the restaurant was the fact that it was only open seasonally. Nothing worse that needing a fish and chips fix and finding that it was too late in the year! Naturally, that only increased the anticipation and satisfaction when the owners were back in town, crafting some of the best seafood I've ever tasted (I've had seafood on three continents). We even took my wife there, who at the time didn't really like seafood, and she enjoyed the fish and chips. Whenever I get a chance to come back to New England in the summer, my family and I are going to make a point of stopping in.

My hun and I were looking forward to a good, tasty dinner. We ordered the $23.95 'King' size seafood platter, expecting enough food for 3 - 4 people, and a dozen clam cakes. I must admit, the clam cakes were real good but the rest...not so much =-( . The platter was just enough for two, 2 pieces of fish which were completely tasteless, unless you count the greasy batter), 4 small shrimp, 8 half scallops, a handful of fries and clams. 'King' size? I hate to see a regular size platter. Almost $24 for this? Never again.
