DUCT TAPED FLAGSTICK!!! The greens were covered in crab grass making the rolls not even close to true. The best putting green on the course was the practice green. We went in the afternoon and were swamped by mosquitos. The carts had gps but really all that did was limit your speed on the fairways. I’m a weekend golfer who’s not that good at all. I wouldn’t play this course again if it was free. The only thing they had going was the ball washers were full of soap must of blown the budget there. Place has huge potential with a layout that could be phenomenal. Too bad there was a groundskeeper on site and there still charging 60 plus a round.

Good challenging course with some nice water holes, not the best maintained course as far as the the fairways n greens but good place to play just wish they would lower fees considering the condition of this course $62.00 on a Monday a bit high.

It's truly a shame the course is in this kind of shape. I used to work here 15 years ago and it was a gorgeous course. I've always loved the layout, and it has some stunning holes (the finishing 3 in particular). The potential is infinite here but it's just been horribly managed and maintained. I know it was recently sold to potentially become a distribution center, so I guess I understand why they've given up even trying to take care of it, but it's so sad to see it looking like this.
Update: played again today a year later to see if it's improved, but it's even worse now. Greens are literally fairway length with crabgrass on every one. Fairway and rough are mostly clover. Tough to tell where the fairway ends in many places. Tee boxes are mostly dirt. Just a complete train wreck.

Without question the worst golf course in Massachusetts. The greens are brown, dead and full of weeds. The carts are horrible and will often drop to the sub 5 mph limit even if you are sticking to the car paths. The flags are held together by duct tape. The sand traps are either just mud or full of overgrown weeds. They don’t have a working restroom. They do not even attempt to groom their course or keep pace of play. They send tee times out every 5-10 minutes so expect lines at each hole. There is no ranger to help with this and there is no cart girl either. I wouldn’t play this course if it was free. After spending 4 hours waiting our way through the first 15 holes, we get to hole 16 and are told to wait because the members of the club house decided they wanted to play a closest to the pin contest so we just left. The best advice I could give any potential visitor is to do everything in your power to book literally any other course.

Played today which is in October and while the view is beautiful, the course just wasn't maintained as good as hoped for. Many dirt and sand spots on the fairway and lots of divots in the Tee boxes. The holes are all intertwined which is confusing the first time playing.
The inside bar and food area is very nice and clean along with good hospitality and instructions for playing.
Overall, I believe that the course is just towards the end of the season and therefore not worth repairing at this point when the season is about to end. I will be playing again next year to hopefully see a better maintained course.

One of the worst golf courses I have ever played! Un-kept greens, and the longest grass you’ll ever play out of. If you don’t hit down the middle of the fairway, you’ll NEVER find your ball.
But the worst part of all is the golf carts! They completely shut down anytime you leave the cart path. The 90 degree rule doesn’t even kick these carts into gear. It basically stretches an 18 hole round of golf to a full 6 hours!
I’m never playing this course again.

Course was in tough shape with weeds overtaking the greens. Carts have GPS but do not provide yardage, only stop the cart even when following their 90 rule. Could use a starter, waited on every hole and grabbed beers form their cooler at the turn so probably inside for 3 minutes. A group playing 9 decided to cut us and go off the back making a slow round even worse. I like the layout but they need to maintain it with a $70 price tag.

Beautiful layout I can see the potential but we went after good amount of rain and it was soaked and grass had not been cut recently rough was 4-5 inches hard to find balls! I would go back but definitely not after couple days of rain!

I like the people who own it and the employees are nice, but sadly the course is being run into the ground. Played it on Tuesday, golf cart was filthy , ball washer and club washer on cart was broken and couldn't hold water, no ball washers on any holes, sand traps in terrible condition, (15th hole sand traps should be an embarrassment to the club , weeds, grass, growing out of them!! ) played twice before and our carts ran out of power half way through round. Greens are holding up for now and are decent but tee boxes and fairways are deteriorating rapidly!! I know the owners aren't real " golf enthusiasts " but I'm begging them to get some professional help in maintaining the course. Throwing seed down, on sand, in some cases is not going to work. Please try to rescue this course before it's too late. I would suggest just going through a couple complete holes at a time from tee box to greens , including the surrounding areas of each hole, identify the needs and tackle them.

Loved the vibe. Our foursome was looking for the drink cart when an employee came by in a golf cart. We asked him where the drink cart was and he volunteered to get drinks for us. When he returned he wouldn't take our money so we figured we would settle up in the club house when we finished. While sitting on the beautiful deck having our second round, the man from the cart started chatting with us. Ends up he's the owner of the course. What a nice guy, genuinely loves people enjoying the course. Would return in a hearbeat. As for those drinks ...they were on the house.

It's not the quietest place to have a business meeting, but boy did I want to hang out and have a beer instead of having to drive back home. Fun place!

Very friendly staff. A fun place with great food and vibe.

It's real bad can not believe they let the course go the greens were horrible, the fairways were all dried up the golf carts were filthy and I have played there for years and can't believe they let go will not go back

Awesome place to hang out with awesome people. Service is great, food is great and complimented with a smile at each pass. Can't get any better than this.

The course conditioning is greatly improved over the last couple of years. Layout (like most land starved New England golf courses) ranges from great to quirky and finishes with two great island-like Par 3s and the toughest 300 yd Par 4 in the bogs of SE Massachusetts. Good value.

Golf course is usually in good shape not difficult but fun. The bartenders are great, the food exceeded my expectations. Could use mor cart paths...

Lakeville is a great course to play I have played it most of this year always had good reasonable rates. The course of play has always been spot-on playrd there yesterday in 4 hours. We'll be back next time we have a nice day and definitely back in the spring.

Great place to play in February great chicken wings and nice bartenders !!!!

tee boxes are just dirt and old broken tees. greens are terrible. branches from all the storms STILL not picked up around the rough. i have now played there 3 times since the beginning of the season hoping for a change. For $50 bucks, this is outright ROBBERY. Find somewhere else to go.

Hey .... for unlimted golf for three years at a price for $197.00 and the distance is only four blocks away approximately 5-min ride ..... hummmm

Yesterday am, a gentleman from the grounds crew whipped the greens ahead of our early tee time. This made the course so much more playable. Thanks to him; we early birds hope this will become a regular part of the morning routine.
It was a pleasure playing the course yesterday.
